  1. Tuesday We clearly need to 4 or 5 players to our current squad. Mainly 2 defenders and left back. Mowbray need to be busy this week.
  2. any one watching Barrow game? Platt and Hardcastle both ex rovers playing for Barrow
  3. I hoping for 2 signings early next week so they can play in next week game. Cameron Carter Vickers would be ideal and only 12 months left on his contract so a permanent move should be more than capable of doing.
  4. So looks like 4-3-3 again with front 3 of Brereton, Armstrong and Rankin Costello.
  5. Why we should gone yellow and black half shirts for away kit. Wouldnt have clashed with the vast majority of home kits in the league.
  6. Cos they werent a clash of kits but wearing Blue and White stripes vs red and white stripes would be a clash of kits.. And I will leave it there now. No point debating any more.
  7. When according to current FA rules a blue and white stripe shirt vs red and White stripe shirt would be clash of kits..
  8. We havent worn the home shirt kit at Stoke or Brentford for the previous 2 season. We had our yellow shirts on that day 2 season ago which we won 3-2. Or Brentford when we lost 5-2 So if we wouldnt have clashed then why Didnt we wear our home kit?
  9. But your pics weren't from last season tho. So why not?
  10. Yes I do parson. But last season we didnt as my pictures proved. So if we could wear blue and White then why didnt we?
  11. Last season vs Brentford
  12. Cant cos it was clashed. you that we won't wear blue and white shirts at Brentford and Stoke as they will clashed. Their managers will complain about it. Colour clash
  13. Brentford and Stoke play in red and White stripes so what kit are we going to wear there? Boro and Rotherham shirt has red and white on their shirt. Why we should gone for away shirt colour that why clash much with a third of the league
  14. I like last year away shirt. Very different. And wasn"t one of best sold away shirts we had in years
  15. It's very different I guess. But we wont be wearing in away kits in away games at Bristol City, Boro, Rotherham, Brentford, Stoke, Barnsley, Bournmouth, Forest as their home kit contain Red. Will need 3rd kit for games at Brentford Rotherham, Stoke and Boro for examples Would have preferred a away shirt you could wear in majority of 23 away games like Yellow and black stripes/ halfs or purple and black stripes/halfs.
  16. Rob Kelly appointed as number 2 to David Dunn. Dunny's Barrow on tv at 12pm
  17. Plus on supposedly on 30k a week..well above our budget
  18. If you click on the link its show in detail the type of midfielder he is. This was the player that @J*B heard we come be in for
  19. Rovers ladies team signing was Fran Bentley.
  20. That's isn't what I said but you started well and get relegated or start poorly and get top 6. There isnt just 1 shoe fit all approach here as my stats show. 3 teams who finished top 6 lost their 1st game and 3 teams who finished top won their 1st game. Another stat for you Of course we would all like to make winning start to the season and have our squad all in place but in the real world that's doesn't happen in most clubs cases
  21. And I remember you applauded Stoke early transfer businesses last summer. How did those Stoke signings perform under Nathan Jones? Yes but Mulgrew wont be in team now. Only played cos Adarabioyo and Williams were injured. On the subject of a fast start, Charlton started very well last season but went down. After ten games they had 17 points and were 8th in the league. In terms of balance Cardiff were 14th after 16 games and 7 points outside the playoffs when Harris took over and got them top 6 after 46 games. So yes a fast start can help but doesn't guarantee anything as the above facts show
