  1. I can understand that. Does feel natural or normal not being to attend home or away games. It's still strange now
  2. 1-2 Rovers. Armstrong double
  3. Looks like both teams will play 3 at the back tonight. Do wonder how many teams will go 3 at the back this season?
  4. Swansea still interested in Williams. Sold Celina for 3 million so have some funds https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/swansea-city-transfer-business-still-18916419
  5. Peterborough to win league 1 Bradford to win league 2. what does other people think?
  6. first game tonight and how do people think it will turn out? Expecting a 1-1 draw Now on the season predictions for the league. I fancy Forest to win the league and have a good squad. Norwich second with their squad. Playoffs is wide open for me and 14 teams will be targeting them. I expect us to be one as long as we bring the signings in we need. I think Brentford won't make top 6 after selling Watkins and Benrahma likely to go. Bournemouth will struggle under Tindall and won't be making top 6 this season. closer to the bottom 3 than top 6. Reading, Wycombe and Barnsley to go down.
  7. challenging for playoffs as long as we the signings we need
  8. Armstrong tells us his reasons here when he signed permanent for the club.. " I enjoyed my time here last season and it was a no-brainer to come back," "It hasn't quite sunk in yet, because I've been at Newcastle all my life, but I'm sure I'll settle in quickly. "The lads have been texting me every day since I left, asking when I was coming back! It's nice to feel wanted and it's nice to feel at home, so it was a pretty easy decision." Plus having his most productive seasons under Mowbray clearly he can get the best out of him as he has done so far. Heckingbottom and Parkinson couldn't. So let's play for manager who knows me best and gets the best out of me. Why couldnt Preston afford his wages?
  9. Thanks Josh. Yes but overlooking that he had played here before, the Manager has got the best out of him twice in young career and knew most of the squad. All others factors that played a part in his decision to come here.
  10. That's must be so annoying for the club falling through after everything was almost done. But if money matters more than playing in competitive league and getting to premier league then what can the club and manager do Any news on current targets?
  11. Not at Stuart but if you look at a number of players who left us and done nothing with their careers afterwards was it worth moving on. Players David Bentley, Chris Samba, Roque Santa Cruz, Benni McCarthy, Lucas Neill in our PL days. Now championship days like Jordan Rhodes, Rudy Gestede, Ben Marshall. Some players like Duffy and Hanley have gone on and played regular PL football. .
  12. Rovers turned down Buckley loan offers https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18712465.rovers-respond-loan-enquiries-midfielder-buckley/
  13. Well Raya knows all about dropping a massive bollock after his one in the Playoff final
  14. But I didnt compare us to Spurs tho so you are wrong but showing what Levy said about transfers and hard they are do..
  15. Hope he enjoyed that Arsenal bench ?
  16. Oh well. Each to their own opinion then. The club does alot of good things and some poor things like policy on potential moving supporters from top tier Jack Walker stand who have sat there for years Cairney fair enough Marshall- 1.5 million pound for a player with 6 months left on his deal. How much do you think we should have got? Gestede 6 million. Did nothing after leaving here. So how much do you think we should have got?
  17. His agent did it last summer and doing it again.
  18. Did I say that? Rovers make mistakes in the market. But you judge at the end of a window when you sign or not sign the players we want, and how the new signings performed. Like Walton was awful signing in the end where Downing and Adarabioyo were good signings. Wonder why you say cos it suit your opinion. Levy is one of the best chairman in the game. Yes Coventry have signed some of those players but would you wanted any here and would they improve our starting 11?
  19. Raya and his agent forcing a move again. No surprise.
  20. Here is Daniel Levy on how hard it is to do a transfer. From Spurs Documentary series on Amazon
  21. ? Well when people make comments then need comparing to other clubs officials making similar to ours I will compare. Oki doki ?
