I disagree about Armstrong's lack of footballing intelligence. He has pace and can score goals from inside and outside of the Penalty area. Rhodes was never going to cut it due to lack of pace or strength in the PL. I surprise he got a move to Huddersfield this past week so early in the summer given how Huddersfield only play with 1 striker. Maybe they going to change Style of play or formation?

Maybe that's your opinion but for me it's just the player we need. Someone with creative spark which we lack for a couple of seasons under Mowbray. If we are going to play the way Mowbray wants then we need some creative in midfield whether its left winger or number 10 player or centre midfielder. Cant rely on just Buckley to do this and Rothwell looks like he is likely to going.

Yes League 1 is looking very strong and tough to call who will win promotion next season. Ipswich and Sheffield Wednesday will be huge rebuilding jobs player recruitment wise. Is Cowley staying at Portsmouth? Will Richardson remain at Wigan for next season? Didn't Sunderland but Will Grigg for 4 million pounds whilst in the first season in league 1?

Gauld is a no brainer for me and hopefully we can get the best out of him if he signs here. Dewsbury-Hall would be good option in a midfield role next Travis and Buckley in midfield 3 but for me we need a good centre midfielder who has the defensive attributes to protect the back 4

It does appear that Mowbray has survive for this season poor results and performances. But he will be under pressure this coming season and fans are back within the stadium aswell.

Did a decent enough job here. No idea what happened to his career still leaving here. But Mowbray did have 7 midfielders on bench but no strikers against Birmingham for example. Did we really need that many on bench? We need 3 or 4 midfielders then a couples strikers on bench plus a couple of defenders on there

I thought Nuttall was decent enough tbh. Far from useless. Well until we give McBride a chance in the first team we will never know. He has score goals at under 23's. I like his movement. Do you watch many under 23's games? I rather play our young players then players like Evans and Downing who left the clubs last few games. Wouldnt you?

I answer this already to you several times. Why keep asking the same question. I would not play Nyambe for few games for Pike to play. Play McBride in front 3 from left or play 2 up front with Armstrong. Easy solutions. We need a manager/head coach who believe in youth development

Of course we are short in their positions. Rankin-Costello should be playing forward then Pike as back up for Nyambe. You wouldn't be expecting Pike and McBride to be as good as the players that are already there at their age. But by not given them first team game time last few games was a mistake by Mowbray. But you give them proper opportunities to play and game time instead of using players who weren't going to be staying.

It's a long deal for kit supplier. Will be interesting to see what Home and Away shirts are like under Macron plus the prices.
