  1. who said we didn't tho? We don't know what goes on behind the scenes do we.
  2. 60 points this season and Dack out injured since Christmas time. Yes we need a few signings but Mowbray would have knew this from last Summer in terms of 3 loan players and the 2 players of Graham and Downing. So we should know who we want to bring in depending on budget we have. No the signing of Brereton hasn't work and its disappointed. Gallagher for me, I think he had some good games but nowhere near enough and he overall disappointed. I don't like Armstrong out wide even in 4-3-3 formation. Yes in a couple of games but not enough since we return from lockdown
  3. Surely we should be using our young players more next season like Buckley, Davenport Rankin Costello, Carter. Maybe Butterworth next season. Yes sign a couple of experience players like 1st choice keeper, possible centre back partnership next to Lenihan and left back like Cunningham. I not expect is signing anyone for a fee if the budget is cut Jones at Luton? He took over during the Pandemic. Clolet decide to leave Birmingham to go home to Spain for family reasons. But making it public was the worst thing they did, resulting in poor results The club is a mess internal from what I heard one Birmingham fan. Who gets appoint permanent will be interested.
  4. well seems that its you who is championing Keane so surely you would know how he got Sunderland promote. I am not to make some claims on here that new owners would be better or worse than the current ones until its happens. I've explained my reasons yesterday for this opinion
  5. Leeds have to sell Jansson and their head coach Bielsa accept that last season. But he sign on loan Ben White. Did they? I didn't. In fact I wanted him moving from wing to playing up front cos IMO he is our best striker and we need to use his pace and movement there
  6. His last job is at Blackburn Rovers were IMO is doing well and progressing the club. He got out league 1 at the 1st attempt where other clubs like Sheff Utd spent years there to get out of that league. Would you agree that if WBA lost Pereira or Forest lost Grabban long term like we lost Dack they would be in their current league position? You are correct about Brentford model and they make it work. Have proper structures in place and if their loss head coach at the end of the season its wouldn't effect the overall structure of the club. But their model is unique to football but Their owner is very active at the club.
  7. Hopefully October. But they would be trials happening over the summer. at least its some positive
  8. Government has announced that fans will be allow back in Stadium in the Autumn. Great news for clubs
  9. But at this time we have a massive economic recession happening. The world is a very different place to 6 months ago. another Wigan could be around the corner. Who knows. I haven't said we should stick with the current owners just I would be very sceptical of any potential owners coming in, having the funding in place to run the club long term and who would they bring into the club to run it. Look how long it took last time to sell the club and we were in the Premier League, very well run club and Mark Hughes as manager. Plus before the 2008 economic recession.
  10. Not interested in Keane medal collection cos it means nothing in management world. When was his last job as manager? How did it go?
  11. I'm really enjoying watching TV Show Deadliest Catch on the Discovery channel. Its a real life show and about King Crab Fishing in the Bering sea. Dutch Harbor in Alaska is port they used.
  12. Keane should be nowhere near a coaching or managerial role. Doesn't have the knowledge or ability to adapt his style.
  13. Its an important part of your question, is who and why would they been interested in buying Rovers? how would they run the club and who would they appoint as CEO? I am would be very sceptical of any new possible owners. That's isn't to say I want Venkys to remain as owners but I wouldn't be jumping for joy if they sold the club to any new owners until we see what their new owners did. Yes Newcastle have being bought for months now. Their takeover might happen or not. Who knows. We will see how good or bad they are as owners if they buy the club. Yes Wigan have people interested. I think I read they had over 25 offers of interest of buying but their administrators did say probably only 4 or 5 interested parties would be serious and able to fund the club long term. So Lets wait and see who buy the club and runs the club. I have listened Mowbray on BBC Radio Lancs and he doesn't sounded fed up but very realistic with the current economic situation in the world. accept it or grin and bear it? same thing in my book. See I wouldn't want any further down the leagues just to get new owners. No guarantees we would come back. All depends on who the new owners and the funding to run the club. I would be very sceptical of any new owners and their plans long term. after our experiences with the current owners I would be careful 1st.
  14. Who is willing to buy a football club at this stage with the world economic problems? Yes decisions on the club future in terms of budget will be made next week. How many clubs know their budget for next season already(Just clubs in the championship)? Looking at the owners and what we know about them from different sources that Mrs D is the person in charge of finances along with her husband. We have know this for years tho. So hardly ground breaking is it. I don't think Mowbray goes over there begging them for money at all. He clearly holds detail discussions with them about football related issues. I am fully aware of the Covid-19 and travel restrictions to India since I was the first people on here to post that no one can travel to India at this stage.
  15. We know but keep posting about day after on here is going to change what? Dismissive? not at all but I just accept it cos I cant change it so what else can I do?
  16. why keep going on and on about it day after day? We already know this but they aren't going to change
  17. Roy Keane? is this meant as a wind up? He isn't a manager. Football has moved on from Keane's days as a manager and he isn't clever enough to change his attitude like Neil Warnock or Sir Alex Ferguson have done. Graeme Souness admit that he should have change his approach to players. No coach would want to work with Keane in my opinion. He didn't last long as Villa Number 2 under Lambert did he? not even 6 months?
  18. Yes. I had already stated my opinions on the points raised by roversfan99 and I haven't changed my opinion. You disagree, fine by me. If you look at any foreign links we have had they have been from overseas links like the one yesterday. No. India is having being hit with Coronavirus pandemic hard at the minute. Thanks for sharing. I wonder if one is a 1st choice keeper who has been out of contract at his previous club Thanks for that post. I was right then with my post yesterday.
  19. I wouldn't keep Samuel, Not good enough, get rid. Bring in someone better. Downing has been a good signing for us until the lockdown. Since then, not been good enough.
  20. None apart from Downing maybe Samuel needs to go
  21. So why have got Chief European Scout in Bruno Reis and from articles in local journalists saying we are scouting players in different countries. We have been linked to oversee players
  22. Brereton was only made available for transfer 2 or 3 days left of window If I remember correctly. Didnt we move for Luke Freeman before him.
  23. Didnt someone post on here that Brereton was never scouted
