  1. It was reported before the hearing took place by the Athletic on 24th July thats the administrations thought they wouldn't win https://www.brfcs.com/mb/index.php?/forums/topic/34529-wigan-administration/&do=findComment&comment=2084330
  2. I can understand that K-Hod that some would. I said I wanted more info and details before committing either way of how the stadium would be covid safe, facilities within the ground, Where you would be seated and if you generally go in a group can you still do that even with the current restrictions within East Lancashire you can't meet up so why would that be allow inside a stadium. so how are Luton Town board going to decide which of the 6500 season ticket get in if the government says you can only have 20% of stadium capacity inside?
  3. Lancs Telegraph did a report on the season ticket on Saturday. Rovers are waiting to see the advice from EFL and government 1st. Posted the link in the season ticket thread
  4. Do you think people are more worried about coronavirus, losing their job or hours being cut back than buying a Rovers season ticket? Other clubs might be selling them. Good for them but when they won't be allowed in or majority wont how are they going to decide who enters the ground? or even better don't say anything and focus on making signings. Why tell other teams your budget or any hints?
  5. But cheaper to buy in league 1 and wage bill would be much less to run the club. Plus are they close to a new owner buying the club or not? cos at the minute its seems they are miles off from it
  6. how can you sell Season tickets when we don't know if we even been allowed in stadium all season or even at all. Why does the manager have to tell us what the budget is?
  7. I haven't said everything is hunky dory tho have I? You see what you want to see again. 22 year old(Iversen) with 2 season of playing 1st team football as a keeper instead of our own Andrew Fisher who has barely played any 1st team football like last season which he played zero league games which one would you prefer?. I suggested Dillon Philips would be ideal but without knowing the budget and thats we need a centre back and left back for the 1st eleven of the team. So you have to weigh up your options as Josh's post last week pointed to that and Mowbray has also said in the past. and Jason Steele was poor here so why would we bring in back for? Well you can all judge them when they arrived here and play in a blue and white shite surely? I don't know much on Whiteman at all. Only what Sparks has said about the type of player he is. Muric just what I seen for his team he played for. Just imagined his that situation did happen tho? who knows what money there is but at least some posters with connects are sharing their info with the board.
  8. If he isnt a good shot stopper Marshall why do we want him? Phillips or Muller would be ideal for a cash buy solution to the keeper problem.
  9. Is Cook close to getting a job? Does Richardson want to become a manager again?
  10. Cos see Wigan going to CAS which would throw the football season into total chaos. Do Wigan want to responsible for that? Plus it still doesn't help Wigan financial as their wage bill is still too high and still no owners yet
  11. I don't know how you can Say Marshall has 2 more seasons in him. Hes 35 years old. I would prefer Philips from Charlton or as Rovers chat suggested Kevin Muller as a possible target. But if we need to go loan route due to budget reasons. Fisher isn't good enough. He goes on loan and never plays whilst other keepers go on loan and play like Iversen, Sanchez, etc.. Hilton is a much better prospect imo.
  12. Maybe so. If Adarabioyo deal is sorted and maybe we have sign a foriegn free agent for the long term already or close to being done It wouldnt take much for you to be fuming would it? A 22 year old isnt a kid is it?.
  13. Here are keeper stats from the guys from Rovers chat who did possible goalkeeper options. I asked if they do them for Daniel Iversen and Muric..here are those stats..
  14. I would just want to play football at that age and learn my trade
  15. Mercer, we have 2 weeks before Pre season starts, we will be looking for what we want. If takes a couple of weeks to sort it then so be it. Lets say we want the Charlton keeper but Charlton ongoing problem with their ownership could be why we have got an answer yet for an example. Nothing seems to be moving? or things are moving but we just don't know the full or any details or a possible loan do you think Wharton wants to go there?
  16. Patience Mercer still 2 weeks before pre season starts
  17. Bell has to be back up. so we need 1st choice Left back in. But the first 2 targets have to be 1st choice keeper and centre back partner for Lenihan. I wonder If Mowbray has already sorted a centre back position by him not mentioning it in talks with Whiteman
  18. You don't need to tell me about Travis record that season as I was pushing for him to be more involved in that season squad after seeing some of his appearances for under 23's. So you would be wary of any signing regarding of age or experience? I know about Philips. Done very well there but like I said before depends on the budget and different lists we have to work on. Where if we get a centre back off list A then we might only keeper list off B or C for example
  19. 2 mil for Whiteman? Do you know how much the pot of money is? I hope Centre back is second on the list after signing a keeper
  20. Carter is a good prospect. Issac Whitehall impressed me in centre midfield and he is another good prospect.
  21. Was trusted until his wild tackled against Portsmouth Surely you would have all have reservations and concerns about most signings surely like Downing, Johnson or Adarabioyo last summer? Wouldn't you have reservations about signing a player from overseas as you wouldn't know much about him ability wise or his game to game performance even if its an experience player? We might sign a keeper on loan but if he performs very well and if we do well and get promote then we could sign him permanently. Like I said before Philips would be good signing here. His stats looked good and we seems to be interested in him. His clips looked very good
  22. Travis was coming through into the 1st squad but his sending off at Portsmouth cost him his place.
  23. Wigan Administrations have put Leam Richardson in charge of team affairs following Cook walking out
  24. Yes I do aswell. Firstly, it isn't any obsession on Iversen, just simply pointing that his record of playing 2 years of first team football and represented his country at all levels up to under 21 level and as been in Danish main squad. I've seen clips of him from highlights and 1 video but I not enough to formed a proper opinion, But clubs arent going to give him a 5 and half years to a player if he hasn't got talent and potential. Did you disagree? No I don't. Cos Its for some clubs like Huddersfield with Ward, Swansea with Woodman or Rotherham with Rodak or Iversen. of course for some clubs it doesnt work like us last season with Walton. I prefer the best man for the job within our budget is whether its a loan, free or cheap fee. Like Josh Boswell posted before and Mowbray has said himself that you are working on different lists so you might have to a player on list B for the keeper position but a player on List A for centre back position. If you have watched Rovers Chat link I posted about some keepers options it gives some foreign names and thats I don't know much about. Have you watch it? Huddersfield had a different manager when they signed Grabara on loan. Also Huddersfield had Danny Ward on loan who was their 1st choice keeper when they got promoted
