  1. Think Williams was always look to move on if he wasn't going to play. At 27 years old, he doesn't want to be squad player I would imagine wants to play regular There are players around who would could sign for under million and would good/decent additions. Isn't Lockyer under contract at Charlton till 2021 so how would he be free agent? Wonder if we have scouted Sheffield Wednesday centre back Joost Van Aken(26 years old) who was on loan at Osnabruck in Bundesliga 2, Taylor Moore(23 years old) at Bristol City(Value at 720k on Transfermarkt and says only 1 year contract left on Contract), Oxford defender Elliott Moore(23 years old) or Sunderland defender Jordan Willis(25 years old) who was at Coventry under Mowbray. Mols is 21 years old and never played here in the league or been on loan. Its time he move on and play regular Far from clueless about goalkeeping since I used to play that positions during my school years. Always enjoyed playing that position. my criticism was abit OTT but he needs to be playing regular first team football and he has been on 2 loans last season and never played. He needs regular football. Would you not agree with? I think Hilton is far better keeper than Fisher will ever be. But Hilton is another thats need 1st team regular for a season aswell. I have seen the error our new keeper has made last season and I thought what a dumbass but I have seen a lot of clips of good saves, good distribution and catching the ball.
  2. Crawley's inning in the 3rd test was superb. Shown a range of shots and he has worked very hard to improve his game. He himself took his self off to India and Australia to improve his game against Spin and fast bowling. Hats off to him Anderson's bowling is still very good and deserves to be in the team even at the age of 38
  3. Clearly miss Fisher performance then?
  4. step up? He has been playing Europa league football and top flight in Belgium. why so negative Tops?
  5. He's does look very good in those clips and others. Like hope its works out that way. The distribution is going to key part of us counter attacking teams from Set pieces. Walton was far too negative and slow in distribution
  6. No Mercer it is yourself who is dressing it up in your usual style again. Comparing them Phil Jones is a rare talent or World class exemption players We are producing good quality young players but you aren't willing to get it time and patience expecting them to first team regular straight away
  7. Plenty to be positive about Mercer. Rankin Costello is just coming through, Buckley is developing and we be part of this team going forward, Vale will be good one for the club in the couple of years. we sold Callum Wright to Leicester in January 2018 Its doesn't matter whether Premier League clubs are interested in our players. We are developing players for our team. Yes our team. Thats the all point of having an academy. Our under 18's team beat Man City and Arsenal in games last season. Our under 23's team beat PL teams like Brighton, Southampton, Tottenham, Wolves in games last season. Mercer, You have mention this tipping point with Venkys for year after year. So far you haven't right so far, so you bound to be right at some point
  8. Rothwell came off injured after 30 minutes. Did you not notice that? or play the same position as the 2 pacey players both played down the right side where Fleetwood weakness was
  9. And what happens if Dack is never the same player again? We might sign a couple of players that make us suit 4-3-3 more. Who knows
  10. Well yes cos we have played it different with a main striker in the 9 role. Plus Holtby playing deeper. What a cop out? One of attacking player can play centrally? Its yourself over obsessing about Dack and thinking Dack will be back to best from game 1 plus playing the formation that suit him. We need to formation that suit the entire squad we got and any new players we may sign. Dack might never be the player he was before and have to adapt his game. Like other footballers had to like Shearer or Owen did.
  11. I deffo wouldnt be parting way with Rothwell. Rothwell's performances werent good enough. Hes knows it aswell. Hoping for a good season from him
  12. Forget last season. Has no barring on this season and going forward. We have no idea how Dack will come back physical or mentally when he starts contact training. Stop expecting him to come back the same players. Could be months before he is back to be normal. Think you expecting far too much.
  13. That's why he hit form in the last few games last season.. Time to judge him is from 12th September against Bournemouth not from 30 mins of a pre season game
  14. And that's why he hasnt started many games last season. I would playing him from left cutting in. Talent is there
  15. Well let's see how it goes in pre season.. Dack is weeks away from back. Hes got 3 weeks of non contact training then going to couple of weeks of training plus under 23 game or 2 before he will play 1st team football..so Middle of of October before he back. So let's stop worrying about where Dack will play at the minute and focus on what suits our current players and squad. Holtby, Evans and Travis in midfield 3 would be good.
  16. We got 3 strikers in Armstrong, Brereton and Gallagher plus Vale. So I think we got enough.
  17. Rothwell isn't a winger then but wide midfielder who drifts inside. It's more of Chapman's attitude and work rate that's worry me playing for under 23's. If the penny has finally dropped and he is willing to improve attitude and work rate then great
  18. Its seems we are going that way judging by today's performance and line up.. We don't what going on Dack yet in terms of coming back. He's got 3 weeks of non contact training first before resuming normal training. Probably October before he is back properly in the first team squad. I would imagine we won't rush him either 4-3-3 could be the way to go Vale is a great talent and someone we need to develop. Will be good player for us. I've seen plenty of him..

  20. I agree and that was point earlier on in the week. We can't be waiting for him to decided. He had long enough to decide. He hasn't so lets move on depends on the budget and who else we want. We still need a left back, back up keeper and possible another centre back. Would Lindsay be needed if we are keeping Williams and Wharton with both of them being left footed.
  21. Well Buckley on the left of the front 3. Chapman didn't hung the touchline like winger would. Play much further inside but he looks like he wanted it for the first time in ages when I've seen him. Lets hope the penny has finally drop with him and his attitude. Dolan played much wider than Chapman did. We never got Rothwell into the game once before he went off injured.
  22. How was their crazy ridiculous calculations when I shown how I worked it out and based on the budget left form January and and the wages saved from players who left? I said 4 to 5 million football budget. We don't know if Covid-19 has impact the budget the owners have given Mowbray this transfer window or not? Unless you know for sure its all assessments and opinions
  23. Fisher isn't good enough. He went on loan last season and never played a league game at league 1 and 2 level. He is 22 years old and never played a 1st league team game here. If he was good enough he would be playing us or at least number 2 here. I think Hilton is much better based on what I have seen. I said for 2 years that Fisher need 1st team football. He never had it, so doesn't develop. He needs to go and play at a club regular same as Hilton does not, with Eastham the under 23's keeper We have different options and the future looks good. Armstrong isn't wide player by trade he is striker who is goal machine.
