  1. The PL and their clubs have big money problems ahead in terms TV and Sponsorship deals over the next 5 years being at least 25 to 35% less than previous deals. So wages have to come down now and players are going have to accept this
  2. His comments was clear. The FA have the overall decision. Given to them by PL in 1991
  3. That's non league football. Greg Clarke's comments to the PL chairmans was clear as day to them. Why are disputing them I dont know. The PL and FA agree on the FA having power on relegation and promotion when the PL was formed. I was only 6 years old when the FA Premier league was formed.
  4. And nowhere have I said football should be put before health. All I asking for is plan going forward. That's it A Plan. Whether it start in mid June or July or even ending the season and starting a new season in September. Breakaway to where? The PL and FA have an agreement in place. Time to hounor it It's good to see our FA actually have some falls to tell PL clubs straight that they will be relegation and promotion this season and will not be null and void season either.
  5. Yet again you arent reading my points again! So I giving up with you cos you dont read my points. You just make lies up and make points up I havent said.
  6. The FA have overall say over the promotion and relegation spots. It's their decision. Part of a deal when the Premier League was created in 1991. So that's the rules between the PL, EFL and FL. so whether that can be legally challenge in court I dont know. I expect a restart at some point by PL and Championship clubs. PL will test players twice and independently from reports. And taking.no tests away from NHS and government.
  7. Did you even read Greg Clarke's comments on relegation and Promotion will happen and the season wont be null and void? You havent read any of post properly again. No where have I said put health and Safety not 1st. And I will repeat again, I am looking for a plan going forward whatever that plan is. Whether its restart the season next month, July or end it now and work out places base on Points per game. Did you understand my main point now? But you say men in suits want this to happen cos financially but the players still expecting to be paid even if we dont restart? Are they willing to massive pay cuts for months?
  8. Have you seen FA chairman Greg Clarke's comments that they will be relegation from PL and promotion from Championship this season after some clubs try to make sure relegation was off the table? He made this clear to the PL clubs Chairmans. FA have the overall say on this
  9. But if you actually read my posts on this I've asked for a plan forward. Did you just ignore my post on this? Here the post But like I said early the German FA and government have said games will go ahead this week..let's see how it goes 1st whilst both PL and EFL continue talks between them and try to come up with a plan forward whatever that is. When they restart June or end of July or end now and focus on next season. I'm asking for a plan forward. That's main point whilst trying to protect all 92 clubs the best way we can. And if we arent continue the season full stop then how do we move forward when players will want paying when clubs dont have money to paid. Are players going to take a massive paycut for this period of time whilst there is no live football? Yet again you have ignore an important point by FA Chairman Greg Clarke that they will be relegation from the PL and promotion from the Championship.even if the season doesn't start up again. The FA have overall say on this. So the season wont be null and void now. Do you now accept this? Clubs in the lower league matter just as much the PL clubs in terms of surviving this crisis. No one is saying that Health and Safety isnt important tho what I and others are after is a plan forward? Do you now accept this point? I havent said put business before health tho so please dont post this lies cos it's simple untrue. Are players going to pay cuts if we dont play for long period of time to keep clubs afloat cos PL clubs arent going to get money from the TV companies?
  10. What happen if we dont have a vaccine for a number of years? We dont have any football for years? Most clubs would be bust and thousands of non playing staff unemployed.
  11. Some clubs are back in training at the minute. But like I said early the German FA and government have said games will go ahead this week..let's see how it goes 1st whilst both PL and EFL continue talks between them and try to come up with a plan forward whatever that is. Its does look that way but I rather wait for that report to be publish at of this month. Did you see my post about this on in coronavirus thread?
  12. But the German FA have said the season will carry on We haven't said this virus is no less dangerous but trying to find a way forward whatever that is. Whatever that is. Whether it end the season now and think about next season, or restart the season, or delay the restart until July/August even tho UEFA would like it end by July
  13. Why don't we see how the German season goes for a couple of weeks and keep having discussing between them to formalise a plan to move forward. The EFL talks seem to be going well according to reports and the PL clubs seem to want to return. They will be promotion and relegation between all 4 leagues whatever happens. But without the money from TV money you are looking at the vast majority of clubs going bust, non playing staff unemployed and Players wages to be paid which they will get even if the club go bust under the Football creditor rules but the fans who support that club get nothing but a bust club. Other sports like Horse racing and Cricket are talking about June/July Return. They are reports in the USA that the NBA which is contact sport and sport where you have to be close to your opponent will return in the month or 2 You have some good points above @Hasta
  14. The PL and EFL have discussions. They seem to making progress. Let's see how German get on this week. Spanish and Italian are planning to get going around the time as our rumour return date? Did you see my post about FA saying promotion and relegation will happen? It could be year or 18 months before we have vaccine or a treatment for this virus. So do we shut football and sport for that duration? What about players wages? How do clubs pay them without TV money? Did you see EFL Chairman Parry's comments about TV companies pay 3 billions and all money went on players wages from PL? What about non playing staff like groundsman, club shop staff, etc? What about our lower league clubs who need money to survive?
  15. The PL clubs want to restart the league if they can. Nothing wrong with discussing the issue. Championship and EFL teams talking today. Supposedly coming up a plan
  16. Leadership from FA chairman Greg Clarke tell PL clubs that there will be relegation and promotion this season when the season ends with the games being played in full or season ends and they use points per games season.
  17. German football matches go ahead as planned Premier League clubs could lose 1.5 billion in tv money in the next round of tv deal. Last tv deal was 9 billion. No fans in ground until vaccine is found
  18. If the test facilities arent being used by the government or NHS then I dont see the problem. If you arent taking tests away from the government or NHS supply either then another good thing.
  19. Did you see Steve Parish on this morning The Andrew Marr Show He mention the testing point you make saying they been told the test centre is private facilities not being used by the government. But Parish was more clarity on this issue. The PL bosses and clubs chairmen need to discuss the issues tomorrow and see what come out of that meeting. Nothing wrong with sitting and discuss the issues then coming up with proper plan whatever that is.
  20. I dont see any supporters being allow in stadiums until after Christmas. Wont be September. Are you saying null and void this season and start a new season in September? You clearly havent seen Waggott's comments from yesterday?. Looking like a discount on next year season ticket
  21. Who says they will use more than 3 subs? Wasn't that idea Gordon Taylor? If they agree to play in Neutral stadiums before the season starts then no club can complain as this was agree to before the restart of the Premier League. That's why there is a meeting Monday and to discuss these issues. If League 1 and 2 clubs cant afford to restart the season as Gary Neville who would know since he is a co owner of league 2 club would know this info. That's why there is a EFL meeting on Wednesday for league 1 and 2 clubs to discuss these issues. If they decide in that meeting to end the season and not restarted then they cant be any legal challenges. You clearly didn't read or watch Gary Neville comments on the link I provided. No Roversfan99, The suits within the PL and EFL are discussing the issues with each chairman/owner. That's the point I am making. No aren't accepting that's these meetings haven't happened yet. You don't know what all the players think. Have you seen Ben Mee's comment today that players can deal with neutral venues and to be quarantine https://moandsports.com/2020/05/08/burnleys-ben-mee-says-players-can-deal-with-neutral-venues-and-quarantine/ Well Lets see how the German model works and before judging it. Have you ever look into that? have I ever said that the systems and Procedures will eliminate the 100% risk but Lets look at what German football is doing and lets see if it works here. Never said anything about the nation morale in the post you reply to but I said that most people who are football or other sports fans want sport back in some sort of capacity.
  22. I haven't said that Health should come before legal issues tho. I have always maintain that Health should come 1st. Brighton and the other 19 teams are meeting on Monday and we see what comes out of that meeting. We see what happens after that. If the PL and Championship seasons finishing I don't see clubs taking any legal actions cos the season will have finish. The clubs in League 1 and league 2 will discuss this on Wednesday the EFL board meeting but several clubs from those leagues will struggle for the financial burden. Here is Co owner of Salford City Gary Neville on this morning Sky Sports The Football Show saying that it is 99% sure they wont be any football in league 1 and 2. Plus half the players from league 1 and 2 clubs are out of contract. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/29326/11985102/league-one-and-league-two-season-return-extremely-unlikely-says-gary-neville You cant teams like Arsenal or Spurs into Europe when they aren't in the top 6 or 7. Leicester, Sheff Utd and Wolves are in the top 7. You don't know the circumstances of the 3 players at the Italian club got the virus. German clubs have return to work and have systems and procedures in place. Lets see what the PL and EFL come up with next week. Most people who are football or sports fans are wanting some sort of sport back in some capacity when it no crowd attending. The PL and government have held talks yesterday and we will what the outcome is on Monday/Tuesday next week. No I am not under appreciating the issue of player safety at all. I have family and friends who are health and social care workers so I am fully aware.
  23. but nullifying the season will other problems like legal battles, teams unhappy with that. Have you see the 2 teams in France that is unhappy with their season being finishing the league as it is and Lyon is talking about taking legal action. Lets see how the German season goes. Plus what comes out from the discussion with PL teams and Championship teams
