  1. I've not going this over and over. utter pointless
  2. no one is dismiss you tho. I am giving you my opinion on Newcastle interest on your comment that they are interested in Whiteman. clearly you don't like people with different opinions. it is a guess cos we don't know how much we have got. if we are interested in these players linked then clearly we must have some money.
  3. you like a dig don't you? Better than those 4? not for me. Still in league 1. Wait for him to sign here, then we see.
  4. Looking like we could be close to signing the Croatian centre defender from Rio Ave Toni Borevkovic. https://www.teamtalk.com/news/blackburn-leading-in-race-to-sign-toni-borevkovic Does anybody know much about him?
  5. I don't see Bruce signing any midfielder like Whiteman cos of his options already at the Club. Shevley, Hayden, Longstaff brothers. Is he any better than them?
  6. Newcastle are chasing a left wing back and striker this window according to Bruce recent comments
  7. well you asked about this loan deal that was close and I gave you what Mowbray actually said. That's all. No defend the club just stating what was said. no money? you don't know this. Just another guess from you. Rovers are putting bids whether loan or permanent ones. I'm sure Rovers will do a deal if its right for the club. We have been link to some players in Portugal. Maybe Mowbray will watch a game or 2 over the coming weekend.
  8. Is Birdy on the fans forum?
  9. Do we know how close we are to the FFP limit? Can any Fans forum member added anything more to the minutes pubilshed?
  10. Championship trio Derby County, Blackburn Rovers and Barnsley are plotting late moves to sign highly-rated Doncaster Rovers midfielder Ben Whiteman. #dcfc #rovers #barnsleyfc #DRFC https://t.co/2Y9zWvtzSc From Pete O'Rourke
  11. All Mowbray said on Saturday a loan agreement between Rovers and another club had been agreed. Now with us in Portugal until Weekend. I dont see us making any signings until after the QPR game in the window. Alot of clubs are in the same boat sadly. This January transfer window is a mess and will be chaos in the last 3 or 4 days of the window as always.
  12. Mercer, people has different opinions. I was well wrong on Brereton. I can hold my hands up and admit I was wrong. Many people all say Travis will make here and Rankin Costello is looking the next one off our Academy/under 23's line when we seen them playing at under 23's. I disagree on Gallagher as I think there is player in him but his last 2 years before he joined here sent him backwards in terms of development his game.
  13. Hes 2 goal and 4 assists this season all competitions. Tho I do wonder if he would have make here. No idea why Coyle didnt put more faith in him instead of signing Feeney
  14. You love non league football dont you? Can you explain where non league football would be better for him then playing somewhere like Crewe or Fleetwood Town? I think we need to extremly caution if and where we loan him to. It has to be right loan and not stop his development.
  15. Big clubs are looking for young talent where they can develop them. Look at Sancho at Dortmund. been linked with Chelsea for 100 million.
  16. I wouldn't like to see him play there. Not his natural position which is up front but I prefer playing Armstrong up front and I would be using Rankin Costello wide. We have academy that is producing good prospects so likes start using then as well as buying players. Yes it a contract option but not yet taken up by his club. Wonder why? I don't agree we cant afford but is worth the money Portsmouth want? I'm unsure. Look at Lowe at Wigan who people said he would be good signing here before he signed there. He hasn't set the world on fire has he? Well if you look at the stats Bennett and Downing who have played a full backs areas this seasons and have 4 and 5 assists. Armstrong has 5 assists and 7 goals. championship stats only. Dack only has 1 assist but 9 goals. Travis and Holtby has 3 assists each. So the wide forward seem to be worked at times. I like to see a Rankin Costello or wide player signing playing right with Rothwell playing from the left but cutting in.
  17. I thought he went downhill after Sam Allardyce went tbh. Maybe man management of Sam Allardyce was key to Robinson's game
  18. I think you are correct Armstrong deserve more credit. Play up front now and forget the defensively duties when he played wide. He is a goalscorer for me and our best finisher
  19. same team as Sheff Wed game
  20. I suspect Gallagher will play there tbh. Especially since he has been working hard on that position in training and working with Johnson in the video analysis room. We don't play with wingers in our system we played cos Rothwell drifts inside and Gallagher move inside so our full backs provided the width in our system. Would I like to see a winger sign? most likely but I wouldn't be over spending on Maddison or Curtis tho. Both only 6 months left on their contracts I wouldn't be spending 2 mil plus on either. Maybe look at Derby County's winger Florian Jozefzoon, or Niclas Eliasson from Bristol City(who is out of contract this summer I believe).
  21. I would be using Rankin Costello and Chapman more now. I was very encouraged by Rothwell's performance on Saturday. His movement was I like the most until he got a stupid booking. tbh, 2 of them would be left back and experience keeper
  22. I was looking forward to seeing Campbell playing yesterday until he went off injured
  23. I was talking over the 2 or 3 seasons when I mention young centre backs. Isaac Whitehall is doing a good job from what I've read. I couldn't make yesterday game due to illness to see the Academy cup game. I was impressed with Sam Barnes in the games I've seen this season. Its a shame I've not got to more sadly. Hayden Carter was good against Burnley game.
