  1. maybe say June 2017 would be more clear.
  2. 1. I look at each case as it happen. It not just think but mainly its players mistakes. Ipswich late goal was a freak goal. 2. its worries me more than after we conceded one we look so hopeless and weak we lost like we conceded another. Like Yesterday or Preston away. We get far too nervous and resorted back to this aimless long balls. 3. Its all depends where Bennett/Travis is going to play long term. 4. Our current team/style is set up more for Graham than Brereton. If we are going to change to more of passing style in the coming months/next season than I think it will suit Brereton more. If it the 7 mil fee that people think can be spend better far enough but surely its a pointless discussion as this money was spent already. The Brereton permanent deal is done and dusted.
  3. why is 25 million pounds for Dack dreamland? Grealish was 40 mil and Dack outshone him at Ewood Park plus has Grealish produce goals and assists like Dack at this level. I wouldn't be replacing Evans any time either. key part of the plan going forward. Rothwell should be playing so I would agree. No Mowbray is building a team to get us promote but we are in our 1st season after promotion and haven't the expectations level gone up massively. what was your season prediction before the season started? was it top 6? @Biz response to the Souness was spot on and yet again Stuart Football management have gone on since 2003 and lets not the mess we were in when he left us. very true hasn't Mowbray and Waggott already said Dack isn't leaving in January? I agree on Davenport. we need a centre back in aswell. Think Bauer will sign in the 1st 2 weeks of the window Nixon mention Braithwaite from Boro on loan. I would be after him on loan.
  4. Didn't Watkins and Maupay sign for Brentford before this season and in the summer 2017. Grabban's wages would be the problem and plus 30k a week. we don't pay those wages. Wasn't Waghorn a target for Mowbray before he went to Derby. Possible Bamford was aswell. Isnt Callum Robinson a left winger not a striker? played wide for Preston. Agreed on Adams. Good player
  5. Vokes is 28/29 years old. Thought Adams is a good player and would fit Rovers model and Mowbray vision for this team going forward. As would Gallagher IMO. Did he say who target A or B was? So why keep posting it about it in The Brereton thread then its not about him? Mowbray and Waggott have said we don't pay high wages. Gestede wouldn't be shout due to high wages and plenty of injuries. Gallagher would be my choice.
  6. what a stupid and daft comment to make Jim. Mowbray signed a new contract 2 weeks ago. Should really try reading Mowbray's comments about how he is going to grow the club/playing staff wise over the coming years. The owners have and its time fans like yourself do instead of pointless cheap comments/digs we were doing fine until Raya's mistake But with Brereton on Rovers looked very comfortable and was cruising to easy 2 nil win at least. Birmingham were creating nothing second half until Raya's mistake. simple as end of story. we were passing it to feet and look confident. then as soon as we conceded we back to hopeless long balls and stop playing the game plan that get us 2 nil up
  7. The questions you asked are much more than just a simple yes or no answers. I said one of the 4 was mid 30's. not all 4
  8. that's not my opinion at all. surprise you haven't mention Rovers fans booing Mahoney or were you one?
  9. haven't already addressed the 1st point but not surprising you have miss the point. Brereton did NOT Cause today collapse and the fee shouldn't be a talking point at all. Wonder if you were one of those 4 people behind me today constantly slagging Brereton off? sat in Blackburn End do we? what mystery? Mowbray has said his plan for Brereton. On Graham I haven't back myself into any corner as you suggest.
  10. Birmingham weren't causing us any problems second half until Raya's mistake. FACT! we were looking to score a third and I thought today would be when Brereton score. also I said previously that Nyambe was too slow for Birmingham second goal. also I said we stop passing then ball to feet and went back to long balls and not suited Dack or Brereton game after Raya's mistake. Why I don't know,
  11. Reed is quality and I think he is good at getting forward. Thought he scored today until Camp great save. I rated Rothwell very highly. I would be tempted to play him wide left and Reed/Evans in centre midfield for Norwich game
  12. I like Reed wide as he can get forward more and using his energy to get into the box. He wont do that much in a the defensive 2 midfielders in the formation we play
  13. a few shocks today. QPR beating Boro, Stoke drawing at Villa. Ipswich beating Wigan today. Can see Cook leaving there soon. Phil Parkinson still the favourite for the Reading job which surely he would take after the trouble going on at Bolton now
  14. sorry but before Raya's mistake we were very confortable and Birmingham were never going to scored. Birmingham are a basic team with simple tactics. Mowbray game plan stopped that until Raya's mistake Thought Bell was decent today. Agreed on Armstrong. didn't run with the ball today. but great finish. Far too much blaming Brereton for every time he on the pitch and quite honestly I'm getting fed up and tired of it. Its pathetic. Some fans were pathetic with their comments today. Yes Graham and Brereton are very different strikers but after they scored we stop passing it short which would suit Brereton much more.
  15. The weather was awful and I just about got warm again. I felt very comfortable and never in danger of leading the 2 nil lead. We didn't let them have a chance to the Raya's mistake which he didn't need to come that far out and he has to be held responsible for today defeat. Nyambe was far too slow for the 2nd goal and it was similar to Robinson's goal at PNE. Second half we were passing it well until they scored. Then we stop passing it well and went back to long balls again. So frustrating to watched. I agreed. They were 4 people behind me today who don't sat there normally but sat there cos the 4 people who normally sat there had gone inside for abit did nothing but continually slated and moaned about Brereton all game and one of those people were mid to late 30's. Total embarrassing to listened to and its no wonder why Mowbray is cautious about using him. I was close to saying something but I really couldn't be assed. Today dropped points had nothing to do with Brereton coming on. Plus Graham was injured with a sore back. Guess some people missed this tho. also was anyone shock by the booing at Mahoney today? I was. I'm disappointed he left but that was his choice
  16. But the boss wouldn’t be drawn on whether he is looking to bring a member of his 2016/17 crop in Sam Gallagher back to the club in January. Rovers are understood to have tried to bring Gallagher to the club in the summer window without success. The 23-year-old, who scored 12 times during his previous season-long loan spell, has struggled for fitness this season, playing just 20 minutes of senior football for the Saints in the Carabao Cup, and only once for the Saints’ Under-23s. With Rovers keen to add to their attacking ranks in January, Gallagher is thought to have come under consideration for a possible Ewood return. Mowbray’s attacking options have been weakened by a knee injury to Dominic Samuel in August which is set to keep him out for the remainder of the season, while Rovers are keen to get 21-year-old Joe Nuttall gain further experience out on loan. “Southampton have just got a new manager and I’m assuming he will be assessing each player,” Mowbray said. “I don’t think they’ll be in any great rush to push anyone out of the door. “That team that I inherited, however long ago it was I generally liked that team. “The points accrued was pretty good. “It’s about building a team, building a club. “Let’s see how much we have to spend in January, whether we are going down the loan route or looking to sign some permanent players.” From This morning LT https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/17299953.rovers-boss-on-inherited-players-and-sam-gallagher-links/?ref=mac
  17. Agreed. West Brom the better side tonight. Deserved win
  18. Like I said dont see where he fit in that team.
  19. Nixon wrote it on Sunday then Sharpe comment on twitter
  20. Harvey Barnes proving a good player.
  21. never said he is unsellable but that my opinion wont sell him in January. I don't see him as Wesy Ham type of player and someone they really need tbh from what ive seen of their team
  22. well Nixon and Sharpe have both done reports on it this week. So its very good chance of happening. a winger and centre back. No need for a right back IMO until the summer
  23. Expect the same team as last home game apart from Lenihan in for Downing. We need to make the same start as last home game
  24. West Ham have been playing 4-4-2 recently so Dack doesnt fit that at all. I dont see Rovers selling Dack in January. Mowbray has said this on the record and i dont think he would have said this otherwise unless the owners said deffo staying regarding of the money. Asking price has to be plus 30 mil pounds for. 15 million pounds is well below his valuation
