Yep. Brown, Greer, Murphy and Etuhu all came here and never played again at this level after being here. -
JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW

why? cant I don't agree with you? That's Giggs at a top PL club not Championship level. La Liga is less physical and tempo less than the Championship level. So zero comparison to this level of football. No one mention Hart or Gladwin but yet again you cant resist a dig at Mowbray at every little opportunity. Brown and Greer were roughly the same age as Huth 2 years ago and both failed miserably. if Huth still had it why hasn't he got a club already? has he retire? Plus he hasn't played a competitive game in 18 months since the 2016/17 season. why would you really sign a player who is 34 year old and kick a ball in 18 months in competitive game of football? -

Play the same team next week. -
Bennett plays every time he fit. He wont be fit for the Boro game. No need to rush him back. You could have said that yesterday with Reed and Conway wide. Reed performance yesterday wide was excellent. He got forward alot and should have scored

JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW

Huth hasnt played for 6 months. Has he even been training? Would take far too long to get us to speed. Football has move from when Gale and Moran was footballers. Look at when Brown and Greer joined us. Both shocking signings -
I think Brereton will be star. Graham says he is working with Brereton every day in training. I believe what I posted is about right. Remember Mowbray's comment at The supporters meeting that he said Dack isnt near the top earner here.
-
Big if tho.
-
Yes my opinions based on the last accounts and the type of players we signed during Mowbray time here and what Mowbray and Waggott have said about then wage structure. The last accounts show wages were 22 million. Thats was the season we went down. I cant see Mulgrew being on that much. Around 18k I think is right.
-
Exactly.
-
Drop Smallwood. Bennett comes straight back into the team for me. One of my main players.
-
Exactly. Grabban wages are well above our wage structure. Our top earner is probably on 16 to 18k per week. Grabban wages are 30k plus a week. Very unlikely we would sign someone like him cos of wages demands, no resale value and age.
-
Bennett has a footed injury. right wing
-
Thanks for the links @perthblue02 can anyone see us paying 35k a week after the Rhodes, Murphy and Etuhu wages were so high?
-
Im sure he was on 30k plus at Bournemouth a couple of seasons ago. Try to find.the article

ROVERS v Sheff Wed

Would like Freeman but QPR owner has said this week they will be no players ins or outs at the club in January. -
Would he fit within our wage structure we have in place?

ROVERS v Sheff Wed

I was very surprised by his tactics but Holloway on the EFL show on Quest was very damning of their manager and his negative football/tactics. He said with their attacking players they should be playing attacking football. Mention about players injured and frozen out. I look at their team thinking were is Hooper and Westwood. I also didn't undertstand why Reach played in the 10 role with Mathis and Joao wide first half and even when Forresterri came on he played wide left instead of his best position the 10 role. -
but already in the match thread I already Graham was very good and back to his best. Him and Dack were back. so clearly didn't minimise the Graham's contribution cos I already give him huge praise yesterday. well I will collect the points if you want but I let you check your little gang of friends 1st ? I already praised him in the match thread where the match performances was commented on and should be. Supposedly watches a lot of football? really Matty? will be watching the 3 Premier league games today plus watched Cardiff Wolves game and 1st half of the Sheffield United Leeds game.
-
Point scoring again Matty?
-
Thats YOUR opinion.
-
Thats your interpretion. Yet again Disagree on the Graham has been excellent most of the season. Not true
-
I havent deriding anything. Graham's goals were tap ins. Thats FACT!!! Good strikers always in the right place. Stop with point scoring comments and trying to impress your fanclub. I loved Graham a player but he is getting older. But he was excellent today

seem like some things are going on behind the scenes -
3 tap in goals. Didn't Brereton win the penalty from which Dack scored from even tho he wanted it and Did he not pass the ball for Dack against Rotherham. did you not see him wanting the ball played in, in the last minute and then he had a chance to score today? plenty of desire I don't think Rovers would play those sorted of wages anymore. players have to fit into the club wage structure

good to hear roversfan99. a few long balls early doors but we settled down quick and move to pass it feet more. Disagree on Naymabe, don't think we had any weak players today. no way Downing pass for the 2nd goal was brilliant and I thought Bannan did Mulgrew with his skill and nothing he could do. Good to see Dack back to back finally. had a few poor games but he proved his class today. Yeah you are correct that Armstrong need to learn from Conway how to play that role. I was shocked by the Joao's strike was unstoppable and came out of nowhere. Still shocked by Sheffield Wednesday performance today.
