  1. Expect the same team as last home game apart from Lenihan in for Downing. We need to make the same start as last home game
  2. West Ham have been playing 4-4-2 recently so Dack doesnt fit that at all. I dont see Rovers selling Dack in January. Mowbray has said this on the record and i dont think he would have said this otherwise unless the owners said deffo staying regarding of the money. Asking price has to be plus 30 mil pounds for. 15 million pounds is well below his valuation
  3. I think Smallwood. Tho your last point is correct
  4. I explained why I would drop Dack and my reasons were more than just form tho. But you have ignored them again. Thanks.
  5. If Davenport had been fit I believe he would be a regular. Travis will only get better by playing. Big fan of him. Box to box player. Rothwell would be my playmaker in the side if Dack goes in the summer unless he stays loyal to Mowbray and Rovers would be nice to see for a season. For me, Rothwell and Davenport will be key to Mowbray changing our style of play as he has said he wants too. In that case we wouldnt pick any wide players then! Bennett starts every game as for reasons I have posted different times on here.
  6. Not a big Evans fan and last season.I would have been happy to sell him. But the last 6 months he has been excellent on the whole. Also notice he has recently getting forward more. Cant see Reed being here next season and with Travis and Davenport here I think we are well stocked there. Plus will Rodwell be here next season? Dont know. Think Rothwell should be in the team by then. Bennett is must starter in any team we pick.
  7. Raya Nyambe Lenihan Mulgrew Williams Reed Evans Brereton Dack Conway Graham Subs Luetwiler Downing Bell Smallwood Rothwell Armstrong Palmer
  8. Injured and wages beyond us IMO
  9. I did a 10 seconds google search on Sam Gallagher's wages. Found 3 or 4 websites quoting 24k a week wages. Here 1 link for you below. Maybe research what Ive said before jumping the gun yet again. I respect and understand what Mowbray has said about Brereton even tho I disagree on certain points. We only have 2 strikers for me. Graham and Brereton. I class Armstrong as winger/wide forward. Brereton has to wide if Graham and Dack are on the pitch. You mention Coyle is just embarrassing and shows a lack of class. I never want to read anything he said ever again. Please to quote Coyle to me again otherwise you will BE ignore permanently. Your choice!!! Report: Southampton's Sam Gallagher wanted by Sheffield United and Blackburn
  10. Would you have took Graham off to play Brereton up front on Saturday? what daft systems? Chelsea and Man City both used that system at the weekend? well we don't know what Reed is on but Gallagher is on 24k a week. that's above our wage structure. isn't Saville on loan at Boro atm? Why do you keep comparing us to other clubs? every club run their club differently and rightly so. You see obsess with comparing us to other teams? we don't pay big wages tho as Mowbray and Waggott both said in the past? I bet our highest wage earner isn't on 20k a week IMO. I would play Brereton BUT I understand Mowbray point of view and where he is coming from. The problem is most of you just ignore his views and used the lanuague you have used in your post above. Mowbray and his staff see these players every day in training. We don't. all we see is on the pitch. it completely doesn't belittles my point of being a newly promoted side as I seen the Brereton buy as an investment and look at the deal as a long term project. Yes I don't like him wide but he is going to have to play wide if Graham and Dack are still on the pitch and we keep the same formation 4-2-3-1 unless we drop Dack deeper or wider which you would be dead against Mowbray explained everything and has been open than ever with fans. Bet some other former managers wouldn't be. Maybe Mowbray just turn around and say I'm the expert so leave me to it
  11. Pulis isn't well liked from what I can understand. his style of football isn't liked either. Could @Teesside Steel add more to this please?
  12. yet again you cant resist but mention that name can you? he is a joke and his name should be blocked on here. Armstrong is trying far too hard and just need to relax and play his natural game. He was great against Leeds and they couldn't stop him. Armstrong a winger in the system we used and wont play much up front in my opinion. If we played 4-4-2 then different story. Sorry but we are newly promoted side and if we can mid table then it a very good season. we aren't getting relegate this season and our season would be similar to Sheffield United last season.
  13. I don't see the why everyone is wanting to rush Brereton into the team. Graham has the shirt and is clearly Mowbray 1st choice up front. Mowbray has said why Brereton has been starting games and where he see him playing at the minute. You have mention about signing Reed but there is number of factors you haven't considered like does he even want to move here permanently, the fee Southampton will want, Will Southampton want to keep him. Then wages and agents fees. I agree Reed would be a good signing for us but I wouldn't be surprise if Sheffield United or Norwich came in for in the summer if they are promoted. sadly we couldn't match the fees they could offer. Mowbray barely commented on the Ben Brereton signing? really? Mowbray has said plenty on the deal. Yes we are overachieving as a club at the minute considering we are newly promoted side. if we can finish where we are now I would consider that very good season and very similar to how Sheffield United performed last season. Both players will go on to great signings and will continue to show this by playing more games. Gallagher has been injured recently. Mowbray tried to sign him in the summer. I posted the info yesterday that both Nixon and Sharpe posted online
  14. that's doesn't add up if he only managed 2 games?
  15. Why is Reed likely to be recall? Southampton new manager said his squad is too big. Dack? We arent going to sell in January. Not when we have a chance of playoffs Agree on the last part. I totally agree
  16. Financial reasons? Really? We are paying 7 mil plus adds ons for Brereton. Mowbray has made poor signings but every manager has even Sir Alex or Wenger.
  17. well Mowbray is going nowhere any time soon. still 3 and half years left on his contract.
  18. really? The squad isn't good enough and the squad Hurst put together.
  19. I will play and the answer is none did but this is the problem, you keep comparing us to other football clubs and I don't know why. Look at Blueboy link and Mowbray's comments that the money was there all summer, He decide on Brereton. You can come up with all the BS and the comments like I find it very odd but Mowbray's comments are very clear
  20. no I wont just agree to disagree on Brereton just like the Lambert debate in the championship thread. Very over the top comments by you. Mowbray know Gallagher and try to sign him in the summer. He will try again in January. I expect the same with Bauer aswell. I look at it from Mowbray viewpoint and understand why he make the decisions he does. aswell as having my own opinion.
  21. very obnoxious. try reading Ipswich fans opinion and the local reporter reports about Lambert time there and things are better but you wont so this debate is utter pointless with you just like the Brereton one. so I wont be replying again about it until you done things Ive asked.
  22. so that would be a no then? Read what fans think and what the local reporter is saying about Lambert time there? instead of being so obnoxious and you will see the full facts
  23. have you even read the report of the games he been in charge or read/spoken to Ipswich fans? if not how can you judge when you don't know the full story?
  24. I don't keep going on and on about it. I respect Mowbray opinion and the fact he know the players better. I have suggest in the past try to think like Mowbray and his thoughts and process, you dismiss that and moan at me. I try to understand it from Mowbray viewpoint and the way he sees the game. Do better than Gallagher? like who? Look at what Gallagher and the fact he know the players, manager and the area. main factor. How can you blame Mowbray if the player miss a chance like Evans did yesterday? We had enough chances to win the game yesterday before they scored I want Mowbray to play him up front not wide but clearly Mowbray has his reasons why he is playing him mainly at the start. Which he has discuss in public.
  25. no one has forget the role of messageboard but we heard from the manager how he sees Brereton playing and which position tbh, which I find some of thye Brereton discussion utter pointless and very boring. didn't know you wasn't there. I see Gallagher as the target. Sharpe is confirming our interest and said Mowbray wanted him in the summer. I don't see Armstrong any more. Not bothered where Mulgrew's goals are from as long as he scored. Not Mowbray fault that players missed so many good chances and don't take them.
