He had a tight hamstring so was a precaution as he hasn’t played much lately. -

Should have been a booking at least and probably a red card as it was deliberate. -

Has Wharton won any headers in this match? -

I believe an earlier poster mentioned DJ Campbell and another. He said the admission came from a current member of staff who was presumably not impressed with how things were handled. -

The club’s reputation has been ruined within the sport for years to come. Do they even realise this, it is a MAJOR disgrace. As I said before I don’t care about people being patsies and saying that the back stops with them, I want the real culprits to be axed and that includes Waggot. -

Not good enough, Waggot has to go. The buck ultimately stops with him. -

I was thinking that, but he wouldn’t be our player as the transfer wasn’t sanctioned by EFL and so we couldn’t pay him a salary. However, I guess Forrest could try to sue us though. -

Because Wharton is currently unreliable and Ayala is due his couple of winter months off. -

I know that transfers aren’t straight forward and we are very much in the hands of the clubs we are trying to deal with. However, would talking and negotiating with the clubs in Nov/Dec so that’s deals are agreed for the start of January. If we have to wait on them to make a decision then surely we move on to a more certain transfer outcome as the chance of the former coming off is low. Waiting until almost the end of the window smacks of desperation. I’m probably being very naive about the complexities of player trading but most other clubs on the championship seem to manage it better. -

Is that to comply with next years FFP or because they can’t or won’t put as much money in to support the club. -

Maybe, but we are moving down the list so the quality will probably be poorer. -

In terms of recruitment, no matter what the set up is, it is judged on results. Admittedly there are still two days to go, but at the moment it is looking a disaster. -

I was thinking more of an Ashley Barnes type of player. I hate him personally, but he kept both our centre backs in a permanent state of anxiety when we played Burnley. Both were occupied trying to keep him at bay (unsuccessfully) and it allowed opportunities for others. -

We need a centre forward who can rough up opposition centre and create opportunities for the likes of Dack etc. Our big forwards are total pusses and are not up to the task required. -

When are the cavalry going to turn up? we can’t go on performing this poorly and not start slipping down the league ala TM. Our squad is too thin with little class, even TK has been poor lately. There has been no mention of the midfield player we desperately need more than any other position imho. -
