Wow That surprised me. I thought it looked just a few changes. I am torn on this one. I am sure there are a few young first teamers who would have loved playing at a Premier League ground. Give a better balance and use the subs more. Won’t look great for us to get tonked and say it was the reserves. Doesn’t do much for their confidence if they are needed to step up. Hopefully I will be proven wrong and we give a good showing.

Did you notice him slightly raise his hands in celebration. He shot them down very quickly. That was the cherry on the turd. Awful game. No manager bounce dings us again. Passing backwards on 89 minutes finished it for me. No running into positions. Midfield overran and nobody to put their foot on the ball and control proceedings. Old Dack would have had that chance.

I am a little over his comment about I don’t buy the players. He doesn’t get involved in the grubby dealings but surely to God he advises who and what he wants. He needs to take accountability for how players perform and how he fits them into his “project.”

Get on the training pitch in November. Sounds like another journey to me.
