  1. I am warming to the concept of Dyche getting us promoted next year.
  2. Incy would love to do us. For old times sake and to get them out of the poo. He has been bigging it up saying it was “My Team” at Bournemouth and saying they should have had three points. We will need to watch the cards for this game as they will be cruising for a bruising.
  3. I’ll just take the positives and move on. We need to. Reading have woken up and gave Bournemouth a run for their money last night. We will need to be on our game. Dack back gives us options and Gallagher will feel good after that goal as will Giles. That is what he was brought here for. Let’s hope we can keep getting points on the board and have a good run in when Diaz comes back in April. This season will seem like an eternity.
  4. Some solid individual performances. Dolan and Khadra with some sublime stuff and Dolan spared our blushes. Wharton had Carroll well sorted and Nyambe put in a shift.
  5. I’m forecasting a positive result. My new away top is staying on the shelf not to jinx anything.
  6. Yup. Definitely the old sponsors logo has put the voodoo on my shirts. I think this is is where we will see who is up for the fight or not. if we don’t make the playoffs then half the team and the manager will be exit stage right at the end of the season. Total reset.
  7. My brand new away shirt has been singularly unlucky. I an hoping that my brand new home shirt fares better today. Otherwise it is shopping trips only for both of them. Maybe it’s the Recoverite logo 🤔
  8. Every game against the top teams is a cup tie. Every game against lower teams is a potential banana skin. Every game against the bottom three is a cup tie. No more 🍌 if we are aiming for the top. We need Dack back to create a bit of magic in these games Lets hope that Bournemouth struggle to integrate all their players.
  9. Economic from an instructions pointnof view “ Hey Ryan, get your arse in gear.”
  10. Its usually those stats that I fear the most. We tend to come unstuck against teams with those numbers.
  11. Anyway, we move on. 3 million pounds to play with. One day to invest, to save our automatic place. Are we talking one fairly big name and a couple of loans. If we are losing four to loans, it could be like Clapham Junction tomorrow. I hope they are still not pissing around with fax machines at the FA. A PDF attachment or two at 11pm will give us a better chance of success.
  12. We can but hope. He is also a bit of crazy horse from all accounts.
  13. I hope he does have a plan. Venkys were prepared to sacrifice 3 million plus to keep him until the end of the season. Mind you Scott Parker spent a ton at Fulham and it did not help him stop Fulham getting relegated. Hopefully Bournemouth will get the anonymous Rothwell we witnessed in the first few seasons of his contract.
  14. Diaz price will have consolidated after a goal against Argentina. Big decision. Sell him to West Ham and have two or three new players who take time to settle in. I believed he would come good, just not that good. Confidence and belief is everything for a striker. Rothwell to Bournemouth could make us money and cost us dearly. If he doesn’t go he could chuck his toys out. I don’t think he wants to stay even with extra money. Big decisions Monday but as Mark Cuban says “No balls, no babies “🤔
  15. Scored a goal and fractured my ankle there. Mind you it was a company jolly, or not so jolly 🤔🥴
  16. A bit off topic but how great is it to read quotes like this from a loanee. Class player and class individual. What a unique situation from many perspectives. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19875754.wonderful-place---harvey-elliott-blackburn-rovers-return/
  17. “In October 1972 he was sold for £40,000 to AFC Bournemouth,[1] for whom he played a year before beginning a long spell with Oldham Athletic in February 1974. According to Harry Redknapp, Groves was not happy with the move, and during a match against Bournemouth after scoring a goal, Groves dribbled the ball to the Bournemouth dugout and kicked the ball at Trevor Hartley, the manager who had sold him.” credit: Wikipedia

  19. Or as the commentator on ESPN said, “he has just signed a new contract. They were lucky to keep him” The toast is Sam Gallagher 🍻 We needed that badly especially after the hold up. The game was crying out for Bradley Dack to turn them inside out and get them sent off.
  20. I remember many saying the same thing about Brereton. Luck, chance and confidence have changed someone who couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo into a 25 million pound must have. Maybe if Sam gets a prolonged run in his proper position, he may build his confidence and his goal tally. Where does his Mum come from? Asking for a South American friend.
