  1. I find it HORRIBLE that there are some people out there who READ this juvenile @#/? and take it SERIOUSLY. The worst part is when you READ these highlighted words you can't help but SHOUT them to yourself. Tabloid scum etc.
  2. Uuurgh. That didn't makes for pleasant reading. The chance to stay in the Premiership, not move house and for his new club to be (just) above us in the league must've seemed too good to be true.
  3. It seems Mike Newell is ready to name some of the people in football responsible for the handing out and accepting of transfer bungs: BBC Website Big up him, I say. Not sure what the consequences could be, however.
  4. Fantastic stuff from Jordan. I can't stand the man but his column always makes for compulsive reading. Birmingham City really are a bad joke, from the boardroom down to the deluded thugs in the stands.
  5. I was about to make yet another post on this topic, but I've had enough of it. Everyone who has something to say has said it at least five times (me included) and if every repeated point was deleted the topic would be three pages long. I'm done.
  6. Damnit. The fact that its been on the cards for two years now doesn't make it any less saddening. Good luck to Matt, a clean break is the best for all involved.
  7. Its also quite bewildering, seeing as it was a problem that seemed to develop rather than something that had always been the case under Souness. I don't know if it was anything to do with the backroom reshuffle he carried out near the end of his tenure.
  8. I think that about speaks for itself. You muppet.
  9. Excellent stuff. Nice to totally confound the statistics, and that's a nice pair of back-to-back wins. Merry Christmas indeed.
  10. Just one of the veritable bag of chips on Jan's shoulder.
  11. Rangers continue to go backwards when another club sign a player? Does this mean Rovers will go backwards if Man U sign Ballack in January?
  12. Erm.....yeah.... In regards to the highlighted text - make up your mind. Personally I can't see the positives outweighing the negatives in re-signing Dunn. I was sorry (yet in a way relieved) to see him go, but as Flopsy says he'll be lucky to have played 20 games in the last 30 months. In any case, his form for Rovers in the Premiership was spotty at best and to get £5.5m for him was an incredible bit of business.
  13. According to Celtic Desmond is not paying a penny towards Keane's wage. I don't see this affecting Petrov's future myself. More likely it means Neil Lennon will be out the door in the summer.
  14. Excellent preview from colin. I'll take a repeat of the score from last time around, thanks very much. a few people seem to be going for draws and it seems a likely result. We may be six points ahead of Fulham but not much is seperating us at the moment. Goals for and against columns are not disimilar.
  15. Nonsense. They had an entire preseason together. Poor organisation is not an excuse.
  16. Without Scotland, Wales or either Ireland, I would have been supporting Sweden at this tournament anyway, so the fact they are playing England is really just an added bonus. There seems to be quite a few substandard sides in the tournament this time around. Hopefully I'll be proved wrong on that one.
  17. The irony. Today we need to make a ammends for that awful surrender on the opening day. Come on Rovers!
  18. Looking at the highlights, I really can't believe we lost this game - or at least that we lsot by three goals. Bellamy looked a constant threat and was unlucky on more than one occasion. It was quite disappointing to see Zura had been dropped.
  19. Fletch plays well in a dark blue jersey, that's all I care about.
