This is actually disappointing... Even without selling Rothwell, Mowbray said that they are close to bringing players in. If we are serious about promotion, then we should have been aggressively trying to strengthen this squad. Not saying sign 5 or 6 players, just 3 quality in key positions would have sufficed.

Those players refusing to sign, are pretty selfish if you ask me.. Signing a new deal, doesnt mean they need to stay with us next season. But at least it allows the club, to generate some money, instead of losing them for nothing. Sign a 1or 2 year deal, and give us at least an opportunity to generate some funds. But by not signing, they putting us in a position, where we stood by them, gave them opportunities to show their worth, helped through the youth system etc and not making anything off them.

Its amazing how some people still rate Gallagher. Sorry guys, for a big like him, to not be able to get into physical battles is concerning. After 10 to 15 mins, i would have hauled him off, because as a manager, you shouldnt be afraid to make those sort of changes, whether its 10 mins in or 50 mins in.. we got undone by poor officiating, but also undone by a strange team selection, and poor performances by the players.
