Absolutely delighted after seeing the team sheet and the first half. Hats off to the lads second half, we got a result through sheer determination and committment. Everyone put their body on the line second half. Nyambe, Rothwell, Bennett, Evans, Graham all excellent. Even Samuels did well when he came on! We have a great team spirit but desperately lack attacking quality -especially with a couple of injuries. It's a shame because I think we are 3 or 4 decent signings away from bloodying a lot of noses this year. It is going to be the most open championship in ages.

I think that is what Chapman is - a punt. We know the lad can play. We know he can be a game changer. We know he fits in with the 'good set of lads ethos' We know he could break down for 6 months. We know that a good season would increase his value no end. We know he could be forced from the game due to injury. At the moment, given his contract length remaining, he is likely to be the cheapest he will potentially be. I think back to all Josh King's injury problems, yet on his day, unplayable and worth a few quid. Worth a punt I would say.
