Given what we've spent - £10 mill may be the budget for fees. *Sure I read some idle gossip somewhere a while back saying TM went to India asking for £20mil and was given £10 mil...* * Probably bollocks ...yet being Rovers, we may well sign nobody so the 'money' may never be seen.

Do you not think Gallagher could develop? Got the height. Easy to bulk up. Decent turn of foot and good in front of goal from what we saw of him. Don't think there is much better out there that we can afford - that we know will integrate with the squad. Keeper -surely a cheap loan will bring in some experience. Don't get the Freeman link. One decent season in his career to date - doesn't strike me as being anything special. Left Bristol for £350k so they can't have rated him much.

Injury worries come hand in hand with that type of player I suppose. Amazed at how injury free Messi has been over his career.

Got to be honest. He is the most talented winger I've seen seen at Rovers since Duff. Yes he may have to start as an impact sub and there's always the worry with injuries...but we haven't had game changers on the bench in ages. Potential of him and Armstrong would be great to watch develop. Especially compared to some of the **** we've watched over the last nigh on a decade. Won't sign now lol.

Suppose it depends on the player. If he's said he won't sign an extension, it gives longer to negotiate a fee or let it go to a tribunal as they are guaranteed comp.

There will be deals to be done tomorrow - whether we choose to do them is a different matter. Expecting at least 2 quality signings tomorrow - based on TM comments - hopefully a forward and winger. Get the impression that the winger isn't going to happen though - yet it's the most glaring omission in the squad. The fact that nothing seems to be on the cusp, not so much as a tenuous link - points to a disappointing day tomorrow IMO.
