  1. I got that...I was just following through the mysterious money trail to next summer.
  2. No. January is a terrible time to buy. Prices are over inflated because clubs know you are desperate. Best wait till next summer.
  3. Oh well. At least nobody bought Hart, Gladwin or Caddis. Every cloud...
  4. Irony is now when we try to agree all these 'agree to buy loan deals' that everyone is raving about, they all know we have money - so the prices will go up!! Genius.
  5. They probably have a wink emoji next to them!
  6. Who? Just close this God awful window before we do something stupid.
  7. You will be Millwall win on Saturday.
  8. This I don't get. Take Duane Holmes. If we bid for him 6 weeks ago, would he have turned us down? If we bid on players today, they are probably thinking - sod that, I must be on list K at Blackburn.
  9. The window has been ballsed up good and proper. Whatever 'the plan' was, it clearly hasn't worked. What could have been an exciting window with positive momentum has back fired - we are in for a battle this season. 94/95 all over again. Lol edit 95/96
  10. Bit harsh calling Mowbray a dick teasing ITK..
  11. That's because teams with money don't tend to wait till deadline day to do their business.
  12. Ah well. We beg to differ Again ?
  13. But most loans now -if any - are going to be from Premier teams. Clubs with decent players in the championship, league one etc won't loan out players just because we couldn't get our business done. We couldn't even get the mystery City kid - despite us being an amazing place for loan players to come. We will end up with a couple more Rakeem Harper style loans to pad out the squad. Difficult to make an argument that this squad is stronger than the one that finished in league one Really, really poor window.
  14. If the club wants to sell and at a good price for the club. Then getting to keep the player for an additional period seem s like good business to me - yes West Ham offer £15 mil for Dack. Club accept. Too late to sign a replacement. Dack offered back to the club on loan basis for a season. Good business?
  15. Biz mentioned Lenihan. Following your logic above all loan signings would be poor business then? That's us screwed in foreseeable future? .
  16. To be fair I'd have taken Nolan for our CM and Edwards!
  17. Yes and we are addressing neither of them!
  18. Because 2 are shit and the other one may or may not play that role. Midfield has: Evans Whittingham Smallwood Davenport Bennett Travis Tomlinson Even Dack and Lennihan can play in there. And yes.. some of them are crap as well. ? We need players everywhere and are signing none.
  19. In which case, Wigan would be without him for a while anyway. Still a good deal for them.
