This. Positive season last year and we've failed to build on it. Firstly the late release of STs, then the price increase of STs, followed by talk of exciting players and good budgets, followed by failure to deliver them. Unable to win either of our first 2 games on the pitch. All of this means we are pretty much back at square one in terms of attracting supporters back. Going to need a lucky cup run or something to get people back though the door now. With regards to Saturday's attendance, a lot of people are on holiday and Millwall may put a few off. Very balanced post Biz. No problem with pragmatism ..but you have to move forward. I genuinely felt, with 3 or 4 good(1st team improving) additions and the team spirit we have, we could have been dark horses for a play off place. Certainly a top half finish that may convince our better players to stick with it. One team always has a promotion bounce. This could be our best opportunity in a while. I'm pretty sure TM thought along these lines too. Failure to add any to date is really poor. Hopefully we pull a few rabbits out of proverbial hats and have a great season. .

Not just "with a view.' Need a couple of decent signings (not 17/18 year olds) with agreed fees. We couldn't even get the City loanee! We need to get back to the football now.
