10Bet sponsorship ended so that explains lack of kits & will impact on Transfer kitty no doubt... https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18654444.rovers-hit-sponsorship-blow-10bet-agreement-ends/

Didn’t we take his residency rights off him...only does away games now...?

Entirely guesswork on my part but I think it was seen as a vehicle for brand marketing but once we dropped from the PL that rationale rather lost it’s I pact.

The BRFCS podcast...we’ve been doing them for 3 years now...? *quietly sobs in a dark corner* https://www.brfcs.com/mb/index.php?/podcasts/

They certainly COULD fund the club personally but they don’t as no individual loans/gifts/donations are shown in the accounts. If a director wants to gift money to the club, that money would have to flow through the company accounts somewhere & I see no evidence of it. @northernrover ‘s point on the podcast was that Venky’s core business isn’t immune from Covid impacts and so that might result in an across the board tightening of belts,,.which would include Rovers.

In practice, it’s the other way round but essentially we are saying the same thing. Funds are loaned initially from the parent company to meet day to day working capital needs & at the end of each accounting period a proportion of that inter-company loan is converted into shares. As you say Venky’s can of course pull the plug any time as the principal debt is theirs which is why the auditors have to ask the directors to sign off the going concern statement in the accounts.

The trading debts accrue in the BRFC company & BRFC's parent VLL converts a large portion of the debt into shares every year. It is pretty much what happened when JW owned Rovers. Ultimately, funds come from the group companies but arguably, the directors of the parent (i.e. the Raos) could take out lower dividends to allow funds to trickle down thus indirectly funding the group. If BRFC makes profit on an "investment" player, it needs a smaller handout from the parent.

They've been around a while...designer is Emilio Sansolini who put out loads of concepts on Twitter...I think he did some stuff for Coolligan but now is behind this venture...some quality shirts on there. I er...already have a few...?

Here's a season review from BBC MOTD & Sportsnight...

The Raos income comes from their business. BRFC & VLL (Rovers immediate parent) are part of the Venky’s group.

He is a convicted criminal which is just about the only thing that the owners & directors test can objectively check https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/33241590

That’s a Python sketch right there...“Argument Room” ”I came in here for an argument...you’re just contradicting me...” ”Contradiction is argument...” ”No it isn’t.....it’s just the automatic gain saying of the previous postulation...” etc & so on....

Joe Rothwell - A myth or a prospect?
Herbie6590 replied to a topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
But taken literally, that would mean nobody leaving Man Utd as a youngster can ever improve elsewhere...? Keith Gillespie, Robbie Savage, Josh King, Danny Simpson, Michael Keane are some that have been released/sold by Man U & played for Rovers at some point & went on to have decent careers post-Utd so it’s not a foregone conclusion that leaving Utd marks the end of a player’s development. -
Umbro have launched Huddersfield’s kits...the blue is lovely & the away kit red is also a neat shade but not a big fan of the collars TBH

Has undoubted ability but far too often makes poor decisions resulting in no real end product i.e. takes on one man too many, poor pass selection & so on. But when he does turn it on, he is really eye-catching....so why the lack of consistency ? Without seeing him every day in training &/or knowing the guy, it’s hard to know what motivates him...carrot or stick. TM seems to have chewed him out publicly on a few occasions so he seems to think stick...but Rothwell hasn’t noticeably improved so time for a new approach ? if our coaching staff was all that, Rothwell is exactly the sort of player that you should see improve season on season & I don’t think he has... -
Players are paid wages whether loan or permy....no difference there. The difference is Use v Ownership....you want to own an asset if you think it will appreciate. Sometimes you can’t afford to buy assets that will appreciate, but you can loan them. It may be that some loans enhance your team/prospects e.g. Reed, Adarabioyo & without them, you might be susceptible to a lower placed finish. its not the case that loan = bad, buy = good...it’s more nuanced than that.
