  1. Competition - reply to this message tagging in two other forum members to be entered into the draw…⚪️🔵👍🏻
  2. A more helpful link to the podcast version here for you…
  3. We are delighted to have been invited to be one of the founder contributors to this new show On TalkSport2. The 4000 Holes podcast will be contributing from time to time as requested & the initial show was broadcast tonight at 5pm but can be heard on the TalkSport app listen again feature. My bit starts at roughly 30 minutes if you fancy a few minutes of my dulcet tones…😳
  4. I was interviewed by The Times’ Gregor Robertson a couple of years back & the analogy I used (which he quoted in the paper) was it’s like acquiring a stately home, sacking all the caretakers, groundsmen, maintenance staff etc then being surprised when the place falls down. They then decide to rebuild it…but not to the original size/specification & with fewer maintenance staff etc…
  5. If Rovers are ever purely fan-owned, it will probably be in the National League…unless we find another 10000 season ticket holders…a massive shirt sponsor and sell a player for £10m profit each season…
  6. Not totally implausible…but I suspect the Indian director is about providing a direct communications channel to India to help with the exceptions process…🤔
  7. We discussed the issues in this thread in a bit more detail... https://www.brfcs.com/magazine/podcasts/the-round-table-show-venkys-and-hmrc-what-does-it-mean/43
  8. I haven’t heard the discussion, but I’m curious as to on what grounds could such an action be taken, by whom, where, what would the desired outcome be ? (Re Reading)
  9. Our attempt at collating exactly where we are right now… https://www.brfcs.com/magazine/articles/breaking-down-venky's-and-hmrc's-impact:-what's-next-for-rovers/483
  10. I agree…owners of a corporate body have a legal & fiduciary duty to pay all of their obligations on time. To do anything else is fraudulent. Giving credit to any owner of any corporate body for that matter, for doing the absolute bare minimum legal & ethical requirement is damning with faint praise.
  11. Quite…Not paying HMRC on time is rarely good news. It only takes a judge in India to have a bad day & we are in deep brown sticky stuff.
  12. …not on the 4000 Holes one you won’t…😉
  13. Presently the pressure is more on cash flow than FFP rules I suspect.
  14. Interestingly it’s SCMP in League One…which may be more relevant than we’d like… https://www.efl.com/governance/financial-regulation/
