  1. Do you mean this ? If so I suspect it’s more to do with the resolution of the photos we are selecting TBH… We are looking into subscriptions for hi-res photo galleries but the prices quoted are prohibitive based on our current income.
  2. Am I the only one wondering how Macron are going to raise the bar next season ? 😉 If Mike Graveston reads this….inspiration attached 😉
  3. Full results now available on the Home Page…. https://www.brfcs.com/magazine/articles/season-202122---what's-in-store.../40
  4. Our “Wisdom of the Crowds” prediction results will be published later this week…😉
  5. He’s in the last year of his deal (granted, this is another example of contract negotiation negligence) but given we are where we are, the need to bring cash in is glaringly obvious - especially to potential buyers. Factor in Covid depressing the whole market & the impacts are now being felt. We can’t afford to buy anyone due to FFP so I suspect loans are coming…like it or not 🤷‍♂️
  6. Locked so the results can be analysed…👍🏻 Results will be published later this week... 🙂
  7. @Amanda Edgar courtesy of Harry Berry, the noted Rovers historian…
  8. The best programme archive I’ve seen is on Flickr & if you go through each programme there might be mention of reserve/youth teams etc Good luck 👍🏻 https://live.staticflickr.com/3847/14868401574_438f01f9d0_b.jpg
  9. I’ve put out an appeal on Twitter….there are folks on here of that vintage. Doesn’t look like he made it to the 1st team though…
  10. Not interested in letters, actions please. The right actions render other forms of communication obsolete.
  11. It was a simplistic analogy. You agree that writing off the debt is window dressing though yeah ? Redeeming share capital only comes from a sale of the club, loans however are potentially repayable from working capital. As we all know that’s theoretical; whether it’s shares or loans, the only way they get their cash back is Rovers somehow generating Champions League size revenue streams. Re the 2nd point - do you envisage Waggott is capable of suggesting some innovative way of optimising our parent’s global status ? He set up a European scouting network post-Brexit, this ain’t Einstein we’re dealing with.
  12. 1. Debt write off - it means nothing, even IF they did it, my take on them wouldn’t remotely be changed by it, it’s merely moving an IOU from one in tray to another, purely cosmetic - don’t focus on it, it’s irrelevant in the scheme of things 2. Loophole sponsor - City Football Group is a sophisticated multi national organisation, employing multiple experts in their fields, financial, legal and football - capable of moving assets and income streams around the globe to optimise tax positions, profit declarations and circumvent the worst strictures of FFP…we have Steve Waggott…‘nuff said 🤦‍♂️
  13. Not really, it’s purely window-dressing; they’ve already put the money in, that’s the evidence that pays the bills. If they started charging interest on it then I’d be concerned. Whether the cash has gone into the club as loans or share capital, realistically, they are never going to see it again unless we somehow qualify for the Champions League 5 years in a row…🤷‍♂️
  14. For absolute clarity, the vast majority of the club debt is owed interest-free to Venky group companies, so the act of writing it off would purely be window-dressing and would have no material impact on the P&L (& by extension FFP).
  15. Brereton mania reaches David Squires in the Guardian #HotpotMessi
