  1. Bonkers stuff but as long as we win
  2. Kargbo in for Hedges and if fit Dennis in for Weimann, maybe Woodrow if not. Hopefully their recent form gives them a bit of confidence to attack and we can exploit the gaps.
  3. The thing is if we get beat tomorrow there’d be next to nobody saying give it Lowe The chances of success seem so slim
  4. From page 4 but just for the benefit of doubt I was joking at this point Genuinely wonder if some hack journo saw this and put two and two together and made a story from it
  5. I will say with Gueye I have doubts on if he’ll be here next year, not because we will be fighting off suitors that we can’t refuse but I worry about him settling longer term. Theres been a few things written about his family not living over here and him finding that a bit tough, I could see him moving again. Hope not of course
  6. Would you genuinely have said Wellens had he not been mentioned Chaddy?
  7. Dolan to Derby almost guaranteed if they stay up then
  8. He’s still responsible for the worst shot I’ve ever seen though when he tried a shot from halfway and it went out of play in line with the 18 yard box after bouncing several times
  9. I’m claiming the Boetang rumour as from my own daft head on the early pages of this thread
  10. Heard a rumour that it’s Ryan Lowe, with David Lowe staying on and Jason Lowe coming in as coach How Lowe can we go?
  11. He’d be the one disappointment last night (outside of Batth’s injury) he just looks like a poor player to me, far too weak. He had a great chance to play in Mak for a chance at the hat trick but was easily outpaced and out muscled
  12. That was prime Adriano Pro Evolution Soccer 6 99 shot power
  13. Oh so now they understand his desire to be closer to home?
  14. I count myself in the told you so’ers now but his performance last night in the second half was beyond what I’d expect, I fancied him being a really good battering ram type player similar to when Keenan Davis was on loan in this league and would bully us. Last night he looked a compete striker, goals, hold up, flicks and tricks, he won’t be able to maintain that kind of performance but he’s shown enough for us to know he has the ability
  15. Oh you’ve got to let us enjoy this one though there were a few victory laps and ‘I told you so’s’ after his shocker of a miss with his head when more started doubting he’d come good People are going to enjoy the flip side of that when they’ve backed him I thought there was a player there but did wobble when he lost confidence for an extended time
  16. Remember when we played Millwall in the league cup quarter final (I think in the Appleton days), Danny Shittu developed his own gravitational pull and it felt every ball from them or us was redirected to his head. I imagine that’s what West Brom fans would feel tonight about Gueye.
  17. I’ve definitely seen it said but I’m too lazy to look back to find it
  18. Poor really, needs to work on his fullback duties
  19. Anyone grab a picture of Gueye’s heat map? It was ridiculous
  20. Let’s not give Lowe the job, thank him for his service and keep him in a job if the new man wants him but you’ll very very rarely see that kind of move pay off
  21. I’d rather we stay grounded - it’s a Eustace team that’s got the win with the work he’s put in, he’s the best bet we had I think. Plus we all know the reason he’s going isn’t the team he’s got it’s knowing he is doing an impossible job longer term.
  22. Pears didn’t do a thing wrong but he was in no way our second best player, didn’t they only have 2 on target. Gueye in a world of his own followed by Dolan and Ribeiro for me
  23. Tell you what when we posted the video of the lads arriving I said they all looked defeated apart from Gueye Seeing them at the end there that looks like a team that is together
