  1. Whilst Eustace is currently working minor miracles it stings to lose to the managerial powerhouses of Rooney and Lampard this season, both with rank average teams who didn’t have to do too much to get the wins.
  2. I’d say a poll of anyone that watched would very strongly come to the same conclusion
  3. The worrying thing is we had Litherland, Edmondson and O’Grady-Macken on the bench tonight and then had 2-3 more injuries. We are properly down to bare bones here and having to play the likes of Buckley and JRC and can’t drop chronic under performers because we have nobody. If I was Eustace I’d be hammering on Waggots door tomorrow with a back me or I leave ultimatum, he’ll be fine out of this either way
  4. Played well until they scored, pretty awful second half but agree we really shouldn’t be losing that. Gueye was by a long way our best player but as Roversfan99 will point out he didn’t stick it in the onion bag. A truly frustrating evening
  5. He’s not earned a hand job tonight
  6. Right fuck off now Todd you lazy tit, they pass it straight to us and he does some daft-twat flick instead of just taking a touch and passing it
  7. I hate when it gets like this but I feel I am starting to actively dislike Cantwell, every pass is so lazy
  8. I know we often clash on this but I really feel the ire is misplaced here, I get there’s niggly fouls but I think he’s done a decent job overall, no ref is flawless but I don’t think a bunch of yellows have been needed today Lazy offside by Andi there
  9. Holy shit - just noticed Weimann is on the pitch I had no idea
  10. Cantwell deserves to be on the bench - again though sadly we have no other options
  11. Wish we had the luxury of sending ACD back but we have nobody, the season is going to end up in a second half slog again which is so frustrating and avoidable but seemingly all in the design
  12. Another injury, Joe Cheesestring-Costello again! What a change from 40 minutes in, says a lot when we’ve had a load of chances, not scored yet the forward most of them has fallen to is clear man of the match for us. Diabolical from a few of them second half
  13. For a while we looked like getting one back and reviving this game but it looks well and truly game over now, most of them given up
  14. Going to end up conceding again, Cantwell was shocking just there he stopped and tried to con the ref
  15. Woeful from ACD then all our defence
  16. Well maybe not everything on target
  17. FFS Gueye has had everything on target just not going in tonight, that’s unlucky that time
  18. We’ve just made all our subs with 35 or so left? I did say we may have to gamble
  19. The co-commentator sounds like AI just reading off stats That’s infuriating, Gueye holds a man off and plays it to JRC who just twats it off Peter Kay style
  20. Dolan has to play that into Gueye’s path it’s too slow, still we look like creating chances but have to gamble a bit
  21. I’d take Bucko off simply for that shot
  22. He may not win it but he has to challenge rather than backing away
  23. I’m with you here, not going to slate them for a half we’ve been far the better team, there will be chances in this for us.
  24. That’s frustrating, we’ve dominated but trail, really poor from JRC for the goal, the balls there to be won but he’s backed away from it. Looking to the bench it will be difficult to do too much but the feather in our cap may be the manager in the other dugout is hardly a master tactician
