  1. I've had every emotion with Rovers over the years, tonight's is probably the worst. Acceptance. I accept the team tries, I accept the coaching staff try, I accept that trying to run a day to day Championship club with no owner help is hard. I accept that being arsed going to Ewood is actually falling down my priorities.
  2. Yep, when the truth is we are willing to risk vital points tomorrow with having a stronger squad for the sake of hustling for another £250k for Trav. Whilst also waiting another few weeks for clubs to be more desperate to off load players for cheaper.
  3. From looking at some people quoting the statement from the club on X, they believe it's about people chanting about Tommy Robinson. I have no idea either way but that's the only thing I've seen anybody say regarding the statement.
  4. I think I'm done with BRFCS if we end up at, Adam Wharton wasn't that good anyway.
  5. My only positive is I actually struggle to dig out the players after that, we just don't have the quality to make subs. We look reasonably organised as the starting 11 but subs knock us so far off balance and seem to have for years. Seeing a full away end rocking with gobshites was painful enough when it was Man U, seeing Birmingham, Sheff Wed etc doing it really hurts.
  6. I want anything that makes the chancers running this club to be asked questions in public. We are treading water (at best), it's not up to fans to justify the crazy world of football ownership but I'm confident enough people would fancy having a crack at this gig.
  7. I GUARANTEE no mainstream media will pick up on this and think, "what the hell is going on at Ewood Park" to need to release this. It is heartbreaking.
  8. Im not too sure on that, I'd say the comment regarding fans needing to remember in not 94/95 anymore with Shearer and Sutton was very naughty. It was self serving and not a fair comment from somebody who carried weight in the game, knowing people in the game would see it as an honest, assessed comment.
  9. For all the shite these owners have brought I refuse to let myself get drawn into a "Derby County" pile on, I refuse to gasp at the might of Wrexham and Birmingham being in the league. I know what I've had supporting my club for 40+ years, this at the moment isn't my club.
  10. Trav has told Rovers he wants to leave for Derby. Elliott Jackson says so on X. Jeez.
  11. An evening that shows how a lack of additions will kill us this season. Absolutely everybody who played tonight is 100% in the core match squad, we didn't "play the kids". I'm still waiting for us to replace Adam Armstrong.
  12. I am hoping for my sanity that Toth doesn't line down in the centre of his goal for any more 45 yard free kicks, to let the ball hit him in the hope it goes over the bar. Nothing in attack as expected, their keeper barely made a save. Early days but quite alarming to see where goals come from.
  13. Excellent summing up. The only thing I'd add which galls me personally is to have nobody in a senior position I actually trust, the owners will not talk, we have all established that. Yet, when any of the senior people from the club speak, it all appears to be made up on the spot and most often not true.
  14. Call me old fashioned, I've waited for Adam Armstrong's direct replacement for a long time!
  15. Anybody else feeling like the West Brom game might end up looking like the opening day against Norwich a few years ago under Coyle? When we played like 11 shirts got dished out on the Blackburn End car park!
  16. Their stubbornness knows no bounds, the faultless business empire that Daddy left them which funds their life starting to crumble would be our best hope. Long may it continue.
  17. To be fair to Hedges I'd say there will be statistics that managers score him on and they will be going towards our goal rather than the opponents. He is the one protecting the full back in the air, he has the energy to stop 2 on 1's. I'm no Hedges super fan but I don't think any manager he has played for here is scoring him on goals and assists.
  18. Just for one summer why can't we be normal. Operate like a normal club, offer players with deals coming to an end a new contract, if they don't want it tell them to tell their agent we are after X amount for them to move on. If the owners are not willing to spend, working like a normal trading club is more important than ever. Yet for the second season running we have a player refusing to take part in pre season who 100% will leave the club.
  19. I'm 100% with you on this. We as fans need to remove logical football club rules from our thought process when we sell players. Selling players pays bills with crumbs left for replacements, that is a fact.
  20. Joe was excellent during that spell under JDT, I think the following 18 months has seen his form fall off a cliff. Good luck to the lad, always grafted, always cared.
  21. I'd put money on the manager wanting Travis, Brittain and Tronstadt to leave for nothing next summer than losing them all this summer and getting circa of £2m to replace them all. For me any talk of new contracts disappeared after them not signing a new one within a few weeks of the season finishing, in the blind faith we would spent some decent money on pushing for promotion again.
  22. I couldn't help be baffled that Weimann had a surgery before the end of the season, "to be fit and ready for next season". I scratched my head at the time wondering how we knew he wasn't using our medical department to get ready for somebody else, turns out my fears were correct.
  23. Forshaw is a warm, cosy, fluffy blanket signing. We know him, he knows us, he waited to see if he got a better offer and we didn't bother looking elsewhere. He rang us up to see if he could come back, we said yes. No ambition whatsoever.
