  1. Alas, they are, but they are naive, thick and have an inferiority complex.
  2. I’m sure it will be bitter sweet for Adam. I’m also sure that Rovers were encouraging him towards the exit door because of our financial plight. I do think it’s a good move and the right size of club for him to have a real opportunity of establishing himself in the Premier League. The big clubs have a habit of gobbling up young players and then spitting them out on loan to the Championship, over and over again. Good luck to him for the future. Lets be honest, he’s better off away from our madhouse, which is a very sad thing to have to say.
  3. There were too many reports of the Maguire deal collapsing, including Elliott Jackson, who is not renowned for sticking his neck out unless something has been confirmed to him. I agree, there are other factors at play, and transfers are never done until they are done, but the chaotic nature of Blackburn Rovers is fully exposed each and every transfer deadline day.
  4. I would trust what the media report more than I trust how Rovers will spin it, and that really is saying something. Too much smoke for there to be no fire. We have form.
  5. I suspect that is being extremely kind to Rovers. We have form for this kind of thing. Even now it seems as if we are playing for time. Why are further negotiations needed when we were told it was all agreed in principle, before we pulled the plug? We sabotage our own transfer deals.
  6. It's one of the most frustrating things about it. A lot of our fans are like the living dead.
  7. Wednesday are as much a basket case as we are, and, amazingly, even more likely to get relegated.
  8. Or they believe the lazy, ignorant soundbites of commentators when we are on live tv, eg "Venkys are pumping £x million into the club every year".
  9. Yes, "Just get behind the lads, FFS, we'd never survive without Venkys".
  10. Last year O'Brien, this year Maguire, next year, who knows? and yet there are Rovers supporters popping up on my 'X' feed making excuses and trying to normalise it.
  11. All our issues ultimately lead to their door, but the type of people they have employed at the club during their tenure also reflects their ignorance and negligence.
  12. And there you go. It doesn't matter who is employed to run football operations at the club, the owners simply run roughshod over them as and when they wish to. How can anyone think they are doing right for the club and not want them gone?
  13. Yes, we can but hope, but Gregg is merely an employee, like all those who have gone before him over the last thirteen years.
  14. Well, yes, that is exactly what Gregg will be telling us on Friday, but we've been there before (a few times) and the money has disappeared.
  15. I think that will be correct and that Rovers are pushing for the deal to go through as much as Palace.
  16. I wouldn't be surprised if they have told Adam that by agreeing to the move he is helping the club he supports to stay afloat.
  17. Ah, but he didn’t cost much so it doesn’t matter that the ball is akin to a wet bar of soap for him.
  18. Ennis has been a sick note (which was also the case at his previous club) who can’t score goals, and he’s taking up a wage. I don’t care if Plymouth paid us to take him, he has been a poor signing, and is one of the reasons for our current league position.
  19. We will be keeping our powder dry until Summer 😉
