  1. Okay, so assuming that is true, it would still need someone to deliberately botch the paperwork, or be instructed to botch it.
  2. I think he realises himself that he isn't the right man for our current circumstances, (and also did last Summer). We need a blood and guts MANAGER, eg Neil Warnock.
  3. If no-one resigns or is sacked over the matter, it is definitely suspicious.
  4. The overall point Tim is making is correct but, given our position, at least one of the first three claims is incorrect.
  5. Time to give Warnock a call, but it won’t happen with Paul Senior, sorry, Gregg Broughton in situ.
  6. So he WAS effectively banned from talking yesterday and Elliott Jackson wasn’t exaggerating.
  7. As others have alluded to, Elliott Jackson isn’t exactly a hard faced journo, so I think if there was a more innocent explanation for JDT’s absence yesterday, he’d have reported it. Whatever happens over the next few days, it is definitely extremely unusual to prevent a manager / head coach conducting his pre-match media conference. That is the story which has caused all the speculation, not how the local paper has described it.
  8. I know, and if you’ve read any of my posts I have frequently emphasised my belief that JDT has little or nothing to do with transfers. However, some of our fan base still don’t realise that JDT is not a manager.
  9. Agreed. The Ennis saga is everything that is wrong with the club under these owners. We made £500,000 out of him. Well whoopidoo! He was a waste of space and contributed nothing in terms of the betterment of the team. The Head Coach clearly thought the same. Furthermore, we won't see any of the £500,000 in terms of reinvestment in the team.
  10. Yes, there will be fans in the ground unhappy with JDT's transfer dealings as manager.
  11. Maybe Broughton will don a tracksuit 😉 Only a desperado will be interested in becoming Head Puppet at Rovers.
  12. There is a lot of smoke this evening, and some of the accounts on ‘X’ do not appear to be those of silly little boys seeking attention. Add that to the pre-match media conference being binned. There is clearly a distinct possibility that tomorrow will be JDT’s final game.
  13. Nixon also saying that he doesn’t think JDT will be at Rovers much longer, (although he’s not heard about an immediate exit).
  14. The best anyone could do is middle of the Championship, under these owners. If we make a poor appointment we will go down next season.
  15. Quite possibly, (and please don’t shoot the messenger 🙂), but Coyle knew the Man United cup tie was his last game, so there is a precedent. Something definitely isn’t right.
  16. He isn’t manager he’s been relieved of his duties along with his assistant following tomm game. JDT agreed to take the team for the game and signed a none disclosure agreement to keep quiet about the financial issues at Rovers. Posted by someone on twitter.
  17. Well if JDT does appear on Sky this evening, it will be very interesting to hear what he says.
  18. Agreed. Although they didn’t ban JDT from speaking to the media, that decision effectively silenced him. There is definitely something in that.
  19. So he refused to take part in the usual pre-match press conference ?
  20. I’m not sure it can be described as a “nothing story” if the head coach has been prevented from speaking to the media, or is refusing to speak to them. Either would suggest that all is not well.
  21. That would be ironic if they sacked him after telling him loads of porkies. I dread to think who, if anyone, is lined up to replace him.
  22. IF he's fit. Hardly played this season, and the Yorkshire Post reports that he's been beset with injury problems.
