  1. The flat track snowflakes might ride again here, but we are seven points off 6th place, and there are four teams ahead of us, with only four games to go. Add to that, one flaky win aside, our form is terrible. Absolutely no chance of the Play Offs.
  2. I respect whatever decision people make in respect of whether to buy a season ticket / home match tickets. However, anyone who does is helping to maintain the status quo, and propping up this horrible regime.
  3. If we got anywhere near, (unlikely), we’d buckle because the pressure would be back on. It’s the well read Rovers playbook.
  4. Not a scooby’s. The flat track bullies ride again. It’s Groundhog Day.
  5. Surely he was being sarcy? 😂 Ta-ra Luton. If you are losing to the likes of us at home, it’s League One for you next season. Has Jim done a lap of honour ? 😉
  6. To be fair, he does get a fair few right, and clearly has an inside source at Rovers. The problem is, that source is probably the loose tongued Waggott, and that’s why he’s a Venkys apologist and is anti - Rovers fans.
  7. " Hey, you, how about buying a season ticket to watch us flounder around in the Championship, and enjoy the accompanying toxic atmosphere". NURSE!!!!
  8. See, I don't believe that and think season ticket sales tanking will be a problem for the gravy drinking hired goons.
  9. Yes, that and he was unemployed, cheap and I reckon Gestede liked the idea of a fellow countryman as head coach.
  10. Yes, exactly right. The most important factor is the product on the pitch, and if that isn’t right there is little hope of attracting new supporters. Add to that the toxic atmosphere, which is solely the club’s fault, and it makes leaflet drops a waste of paper.
  11. I’ve heard that Ismael is going to unfurl a “Jim mk2 out” banner 😉 Sickness reported in the Luton camp. Could this be Jim’s lucky day?
  12. All very good points. However, Mowbray was quoted as saying he dampened the owners expectations on one of his Pune trips, shortly after the League One promotion. He had the opportunity to benefit from having the owners ears, but chose to play it safe, and all the momentum was lost. He was bloody lucky that League one was absolutely terrible the season we were in it. There was very little competition, unlike now. Given the opportunities Mowbray had, I think JDT and Eustace would’ve capitalised.
  13. Mowbray had reasonable backing in the market. The other two were sold a pack of lies and couldn’t wait to get out.
  14. It matters not what the structure is. Until Venkys sell up, we will continue to fail on the pitch, and lose supporters off it. Not a penny more.
  15. Struggling as a whole over the season, but currently five unbeaten, and very much fighting for their lives.
  16. Nah, he’s one of those sad clowns Good to see a high volume of traffic on this thread. Everyone clearly pumped up for this game 😂
  17. As I said Glen, in no way your fault, and I appreciate everything you are doing. However, my point about Waggott stands.
  18. Our various hired goons of the Venkys era have never seen eye to eye, have they? In no way Glen's fault, but Waggott showing his classlessness by discussing Ismael's contract with someone from outside the club hierachy.
  19. Any rebuild under Venkys watch is built on sand, and a budget of 50P Anyone who still believes this might actually happen for real is clearly suffering from amnesia.
  20. My interpretation of that was that he would lean heavily on the existing coaching staff. He’s sat on the bench (albeit with a severe case of rogermooretis), so the results are still his responsibility.
