There isn't any under these owners. -

They will definitely be selling one less next season. Enough is enough. -

Let’s hope it isn’t and they finally f*ck off. -

Club captain with considerable Championship experience out. Lightweight kid from Brighton in. Pathetic. -

What a farce. We are desperate. How anyone can have a shred of confidence or optimism is beyond me. -

I agree with you in principle, but, thanks to our fantastic owners, we have been reduced to desperate beggars in the transfer market, so can't really call the shots. -
v Cambridge Utd (h) - 06/01/24 FA Cup R3

I will attend, but only because my work roster is preventing me from attending league games until February, (which may not be a bad thing!) With the media team currently plugging comedy nights at Ewood, perhaps our on-field comedy will peak on Saturday. -

Normally, the parent club has to give permission. -
Leopold Wahlstedt. About Damn Time.
martonrover replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
The thing is, whilst Wahlstedt is still young for a keeper, he isn't a kid and has played a senior game for Sweden. He must have been playing a lot better than he is now to earn international recognition. He needed removing from the firing line some time ago, and Hilton can't be up to much at 24 if he isn't getting considered under these circumstances. -

Yes, I must admit I have wondered whether or not the injuries are all just down to bad luck, or additional factors. I was working on Monday, which was probably no bad thing. -
Jon Dahl Tomasson - Sweden coach

To be fair, that team has been weakened + add to that the injuries and the start of “the project” in 2022, and the taps being turned off last Summer. I’ve said a few times that our current circumstances (skint) are better suited to a decent, wily manager who can wheel and deal. We’re not going to get that, and I don’t see Broughton bringing in anyone better as head coach. One way or the other, we are b*ggered until the owners go. -

Sending a delegation sums up the arrogance of our owners. It’s absolutely incredible that naive idiots still believe they are doing right by the club. We need shot of them, even if it hurts us in the short term. -

Wahlstedt needs removing from the firing line for his own good and that of his team mates. Hopefully, Pears will be back soon. He’s not great, but certainly less of a liability than Wahlstedt, on current form. If Pears is going to be out for a while longer, a loan keeper makes sense, or play Hilton, who couldn’t do any worse. -

Buckley will be as much use as a chocolate teapot in a survival scrap, for us or Wednesday. -

Berg, too. -
Nothing personal, but for me Telalovic sums up our plight. We are pinning our hopes on a young player from the lower leagues in Germany. It’s desperate.

Jon Dahl Tomasson - Sweden coach

I know I keep repeating it (sorry) but he isn’t a manager and has been dealt a pretty pathetic hand of players. Every department of the team looks weak. -

He clearly has no time for Waggott, (rightly so). I don’t see any other head coach doing any better. We really need an experienced, seasoned director of football to make this model work, under the circumstances. Either that or jettison the DOF and hire a decent manager, with good contacts. Neither of the above will transpire, so JDT has the tricky task of keeping our heads above water. The squad is weak, and adding a few more youngsters, either permanently or on loan, will not help, (but that is what will happen). -

At least QPR lost , (and Rotherham only drew). This time next year, Rodders ……… we’ll be right in the sh*t. -
Sunderland’s second v Preston - the wing play by Jack Clarke. We badly lack that kind of pace.
