Premier league to launch hall of fame

He was a bit snotty for my liking. Don't know why you picked him. -
I'd throw in a youngster at CB. Nyambe's not much cop at CB and will be missed on the right. Mulgrew won't play for contractual reasons.
-
Looks like the players are used to a safe-space with no "negativity" (constructive criticism) and the local rag blowing smoke up its ass. It wasn't like the article was particularly critical or scathing towards Gallagher. Questions need to be asked of our £5m frontman. Graham is being a snowflake.

Too predictable.

He could give 200%. It doesn't mean he's any good. 31 appearances, 3 goals Still have no idea why we signed him. Aside from a purple patch under Coyle, he's been crap here, and he was crap on-loan at Birmingham as well. Maybe we need to bring back the donuts?

It's weird to me how John Terry never shook the stigma of boning Wayne Bridge's ex-girlfriend but Ryan Giggs had a long-term affair with HIS BROTHER'S WIFE and everyone loves him.- 47 replies

The obvious answer is that teams are the reflection of their manager. It's the reason Fergie's United side would harass and pester referees when anything went against them. Mowbray doesn't want any badboys in his team. He wants nice, cosy, son-in-law material.
-
Think we've still yet to see the best of Johnson. Not sure his heart is really in it here, and the fact he hasn't moved closer to the area would seem to support that.
-
Because we're sitting pretty in midtable, people are happy to keep giving Mowbray the benefit of the doubt. Personally, I think all the talk of a "slow build" is a stalling tactic and wishful thinking. We heard the same thing under Bowyer. "He's stabilised the club, he's signed some good players, we're just off the playoffs!" but tomorrow never came. Sometimes a manager can only take you so far. We've dropped too many points from winning positions or against lowly teams, with or without the likes of Dack. The manager has to carry the can for that. Tactically we cannot keep up performance levels or figure out strategies to break stubborn teams down, and spending £12m on two strikers who have contributed the grand sum of jack shit didn't help either.

Pick up the nearest mirror.

Like I said, there's a small crew on here who care more about Mowbray's reputation than Rovers progressing.
-
It's not about the one game. Last night was endemic of us under Mowbray. We've dropped too many points against lesser sides and have no answer for those who park the bus. That shortcoming will be a big part of our failure to reach the playoffs.
-
Probably didn't fancy another year on the wing and told to become the next Richie Smallwood.
-
Bell is as good as he's ever gonna get... which isn't very.
-
Oh well. As long as we get more funny videos of Mowbray eating jammy dodgers and rappin'.
-
It's a funny old game.

When Sven Came, Then Changed His Mind

Who needs Mancini when you got Graham Fenton? -
It's strange that you of all people would get misty-eyed for this era.
-
Why can't both be true?
-
Cringe inducing.
-
Bowyer spent marginally more than Mowbray in their first full seasons.
-
We had a high turnover of players during Bowyer's time but you can't deny that he plucked some absolute gems. I've heard that his dad takes a lot of credit for that. That said, with the talent at his disposal it's criminal that we never broke into the top six. We were undone by a conservative, unambitious manager who was too loyal to certain players. Hmmmm.

Too many dropped points from winning positions. It's not going to happen.

I think you've got to include Walton. Many fans have criticised Mowbray for selling Raya and loaning a downgrade. Since the turn of the year there's been a marked improvement to his game and he's cut down on the soft goals. -

You can't trust the officials to get the decisions right, especially when you know the ref needs an excuse to even up the pennos. If Johnson and Bell don't let their guy get through, there's no dive and no pen.
