  1. I'm talking about Mowbray's supporters on here.
  2. Not my job. I could offer alternatives and you'd blithely dismiss them for your own agenda. You act like mediocre Mowbray is the best we could possibly hope for. What a depressing mindset.
  3. What a get out of jail free card Mowbray has! Brereton's shit = He didn't really want him anyway. Brereton's great = What a buy! Where are all the Mowbray haters now!?
  4. Like removing the man who blew £12m on two duds?
  5. Sometimes managers are on another planet. Remember Souness was playing the likes of Dominic Matteo and Jonathan Douglas on the wing?
  6. "A bit"? That's kind of him to say that.
  7. He said centre midfield was a position which didn't need spending: https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/09/14/tony-mowbray-says-he-looked-at-john-mcginn-before-aston-villa-mo/
  8. Walton Nyambe/JRC Tosin Lenihan Downing Evans Travis Chapman Holtby/Rothwell Armstrong Graham
  9. Would he be making the same argument if Brereton had been a success?
  10. Keane, Duffy, Hanley, Dann, O'Connell are all playing Premier League football.
  11. It's actually mildly amusing watching the mental gymnastics people pull off to justify keeping Mowbray.
  12. Bit late for that. Mowbray has already hung Raya, Travis, Reed, Chapman, Rothwell, Gallagher and Brereton out to dry. Probably more I’m forgetting?
  13. Apparently because Mowbray wasted £12m we can't afford a new managerial team. I guess that's one way to keep yourself in a job.
  14. According to mashed brain, it’s irrelevant if Mowbray’s wasteful spending has hamstrung us with FFP. God forbid the manager be taken to task and held accountable for his actions.
  15. “Your point contradicts me therefore it’s irrelevant”
  16. @Mashed Potatoes comes on here after every defeat blindly defending Mowbray and dragging posters into tangential arguments. Don’t take the bait.
  17. I’m sure Mowbray publicly slating him before the match worked wonders for his tender confidence.
  18. Every club needs its mascot.
  19. Wasn’t that just a theory? I think there was a lot of face-saving after the Ince debacle. Williams sounded out Shearer for the job early on. Seems to me we were always looking for the “next Hughes”.
  20. Just a bewildering signing. I know Mowbray apologists argue “that’s football!” but the £12m weren’t calculated risks. We’d already had Gallagher on loan. That should’ve been enough to convince the manager he wasn’t worth the £5m price tag. And Brereton came right out of left-field. I don’t think anyone could have seen us spending £7m on an Championship academy player.
  21. I'd prefer he was sacked. I dread to think the owners are happy to keep him in office.
  22. Absolutely. Kalinic flopped for us but we could see there was a player in there. It didn’t help that Allardyce was asking him to be Kev Davies mk II. Brereton looks utterly hopeless.
  23. Even with some of our expensive flops like Kalinic or Grabbi, you could see some talent was there. With Brereton, everyone’s at a complete loss as to what he brings to the table. Baffling.
  24. Rovers playing so well it broke the site?
  25. Might as well play our strongest team. Gotta get that winning feeling back. It's not like Rovers ever profit from resting players.
