Don't forget this gem from you-know-who: I have no idea why uneasy at all.. Hes a great talent and IMO we only get better just like Dack and Armstrong. Mowbray is too clever for his own good. He's an old-school manager trying to be a modern day tactician. He's constantly overthinking and overcomplicating things, chopping and changing from one week to the next. No room for wingers in today’s game, too “flighty” and “maverick”, so he shoehorns strikers out there where they're no use to anyone. Pissing away £12m worth of investment with no improvement on the pitch is a sackable offence IMO.

Dubious transfer decisions (Brereton). Some fans are questioning how much Mowbray was involved in this deal, ironically to absolve him of any responsibility.

For some fans, criticising the club or the manager is strictly taboo because it somehow devalues them as a supporter. That's why he who shall remain nameless changes opinions on a dime to tow the party line. Only when we reach rock bottom is discontent expressed through the most gritted of teeth.

The owners are so detached and uninterested but at the same time happy to keep underwriting the debts. None of it makes sense. They seem happy to plod along with certain managers if they take a shine to them. It also depends which particular adviser happens to have their ear. Pasha got them to dump Bowyer for Lambert, but with the way that ended he's probably exercising caution.

Mowbray has far outlived the average shelf-life of a league manager without pulling up any trees. His uncontested position at the club has bred complacency, comfort and a serious lack of urgency. Do the manager and this group of players really want it enough?
