Kaminiski is far better than Pears, Walton, Wahlsted and likely Toth as well but I was never totally convinced with him. Couldn’t hold a candle to Sir Roger, Jim Arnold or Terry Gennoe.

43 years a ST holder but enough is enough. I think many like me are now feeling the same way. It will hurt but it is for the greater good and the only way we get our club back and that is why, I think the personal emotional pull needs to be pushed aside.

Others have a much better knowledge and feel for FFP. However, I am reliably advised that the club were in an absolutely fantastic / never to be matched position to really have a go for promotion, unfettered by FFP restrictions, this season, especially in the window just gone.

They spent over an hour on the BBC Lancs interview trying to outline all the issue and problems they face as evidence that without the Venky benefactor model, we wouldn’t have a club. Andy Bayes threw them a few trickier questions than the pathetic in-house effort but he never follows it up with proper and forensic challenge to discredit / dismantle their bluster. With regard to two specific aspects, ST’s and the match day experience excuses, we had nearly 20,000 ST holders and average 25k matchday crowds when they arrived. Then, most folk were in the stadium 45 minutes before kick off and so it is their actions that have lost the ST base and are the reason the remaining folk turn up within 15 minutes of kick off. Just own up to it, the problems all result from the 15 years of Venky mismanagement. To me, the one pertinent question is what in 15 years of Venky ownership has improved ! In that time, we have seen the club twice relegated, the ST and match going base decimated, the fan experience deteriorate to what must be the worse in the EFL and the condition fabric of Ewood itself, be wilfully neglected. We were rightfully proud of our club and now we are embarrassed by what it has become. Enough is enough, time to regain our club.
