I think McNair is a good player, capable in midfield and Centre Back. No idea how Lenihan keeps him out of the Boro side.

I would have taken Hugill as well but we obviously weren’t interested as surely, we could at least beat the Millers to a player 🙈

I’ve always liked Clarke-Harris since he played at Ewood for Rotherham, a good few years back. Not the quickest but strong and physical and seems to score well at League 1 level and did ok for Posh last year in the Championship.

Another in same vein is Michael Smith at Wednesday, I would have been in for him ex Rotherham at beginning of season. Little chance of leaving Wednesday when promotion this year looks a certainty, also better playing in front of big Hillsborough crowds, than the morgue that Ewood has sadly become 😞

Would anyone have taken Jordan Hugill ? He might have offered a physical 9 to get on the end of Sorba crosses and hold up for Dack and BBD, if still with us.

Had a good season last year, a lot of assists and 6 this year in a poorly performing team. Under long term contract at HTFC but apparently frozen out and so more likely, a loan. Not a bad player but heartbreaking to see how low our club has fallen
