  1. Newcastle following milking this like they've achieved something. They're playing a lower league team, and yet it's oles with an extra time victory and 2 offside goals. Hope they go down.
  2. A 2-0 win under the Trade Description Act . Tony will feel totally justified with this sh*t show now
  3. I know. I'm on the edge of my seat here.... It's a game thread. To a sh*t game
  4. You don't have a stream of that kettle by any chance do you mate?
  5. We have treated them with all the respect of a top 2 side. Expected it. I think we'll make a concerted effort to win the game for 15 mins in the second half and be happy to labour the rest of the game. Travis and Reed are the pairing in the middle for now. Not in 18 months time with a phased integration.
  6. I feel short changed, only watching that on the red button! Pity the poor buggers who paid and travelled. Not good enough. Changes are long long overdue Tony. Need something far more proactive on the pitch or the winter will pass us by, and we'll be in big trouble.
  7. Bounce through the divisions?!?!? The players have looked flat all night. Big test in the coming weeks for Tony.
  8. Watch him bring on Brereton and Rothwell at 2-0 down. Balls the size of peas.
  9. Does Rothwell have one of these can't start a game contracts too? Reed to the middle, Rothwell AM please Tony.
  10. Very good finish, but we got exactly what we deserved. Yet again, not much happening, and the game slowly drifting some by. If we play to our potential there is scope here, but keep this level up and it's another 3 or 4
  11. Wigan Warriors turn up tonight in error? Cook has them fired up. Dacky looks like he fancies it tonight.
  12. I changed my avatar a few weeks back in homage to a fellow country-man who lit up Ewood Park. It's great to read the tales of how somebody from my little country is so fondly revered at the club I love.
  13. It wasn't one for the neutral! Northern Ireland looked the neater is possession and put together the most incisive moves, but I'm not sure we could buy a goal between us. We seem to have a few players that look well capable of playing International football. That's the difference in both our well drilled, solid play and the next tier up - a regular goal threat.
  14. Darragh escaped one tonight. Dwelled on the ball and should have been made to pay for it. Needs to keep his concentration for International football. On another point, the player that Harrison Reed has always reminded me most of is Steven Davis. Would love us to keep hold of him.
  15. Graham and Dack off form, and we don't bring on Brereton as he's just a young lad and it might hurt his confidence....
  16. Rovers are like going to a brothel, and realising you have forgot your wallet. We always miss out on the sure things. Hoping for a full intensity showing today, and we should get the job done.
  17. If the 3 points are seen out - don't expect to see the defensive line up and Dack used as a false 9 being dropped any time soon. Not seen any of the action today at all, but by all accounts it sounds like a bit of a Tony special?
  18. That was a real test of character for these boys. Not that we needed the reminder, but that was a clear indication of our togetherness. Fantastic spirit. Not enamoured with the line-up, but in the book, a point is decent.
  19. Well it was the only position left Tony hadn't played a midfielder.
