  1. We will not lose to a team with Jason Lowe in it. Free-reign for Dack, and a MOM inspired performance today
  2. Aye, and he's still had plenty much, much worse. Jesus, think of that.... The League One momentum died tonight. Time for a new game plan Tony. One with Rothwell in it, and no Smallwood. It's time
  3. Well, that's the unbeaten home run gone, hopefully it takes the mentality of draws being good enough with it. Our best player tonight - I'm struggling to name one with any credit at all. Reed, if I was pushed
  4. Has Bradley been racking up the community service today? Looks a yard off the pace. We're growing into this more, not much urgency about Sheffield United. Definite chance to make a statement here.
  5. We look happy to take a point. If something happens, it happens, but a point is a good one for Mowbray. It's hard to argue with that tonight, but the problem arises when we take that mentality more often than not, especially at home. Hoping to see Rothwell's drive and half an hour for Brereton in an advanced role. For all their good work, Sheff Utd haven't created many great chances. Opportunities here with the right changes I feel.
  6. If things continue on an upward trajectory for us over the next season or so, Sheff Utd look like how I hope we will in 2 years time. Very organised and fluent.
  7. Now that I think - It needs to run through the Sky Sports mobile app (which I had to download) - so that probably explains it working on the mobile, and not laptop. But if you don't have access to the television (like when I take the kids to bed), it's handy to switch to the mobile, and the picture on a modern mobile is decent.
  8. Not sure about the laptop, but I have watched midweek games through my phone. So I imagine it is similar. All the red button games were available to view from the same web-page, but it took a bit of googling to find it. I've found the picture to be much better on the phone, than the SD on a 50-inch TV.
  9. We've got our Rovers back! Pride, fight, passion and an unnecessary melt down. Let's get the bus started and get out of there before anything else happens!! Table looking healthy tonight
  10. Hopefully that's the bad half out of the way....
  11. Dack is becoming invaluable. To have such an important player, who fits into the team ethic so well, and provides our spark, it's hard to put a price on that.
  12. Stunned that Derby can afford close to £7million for Martyn Waghorn, yet can't afford to pay for a dozen ball boys/girls. Helped add to the ponderous atmosphere of most of the game, and suited us well. A point is a great one after that performance. Dack looked a few yards off the pace
  13. First instinct to scan straight to the bottom - Dack, Dack, Dack? Yes, very good! Then his supporting cast. Great to have him back. Not ecstatic about Smallwood. Must be getting close to last chance saloon with all the options biting at his heels.
  14. I don't buy that it's worse before a break. No point drawing today and spending the next 2 weeks thinking all is well in the garden (sorry Bradley). This needs to focus a few minds. You sink or you swim
  15. Well, we weren't going to go unbeaten all season, but this was a pretty meek showing. The usual drive was missing somewhat, I think Bristol's high intensity played a part in that. This side really misses Dack. When the game has gone, I think you see the real character of a team, and our heads went down drastically. Very disappointing to see. Happy Birthday me
  16. @Biz Detailed and thorough analysis. I have to say I share a lot of the same sentiments, including the hope for Rodwell. The squad analysis read like a quick synopsis of the runners and riders of a Grand National!
  17. He could complement Pasey Kalmer very well.
  18. Excellent preview. That's how to do it. Feeling strangely confident about this one. It seems to be catching. Imagine how the players are feeling. One slight point of interest - the thread title lists the game as the 1st. As it's my birthday it stood out.
  19. You misunderstand. 'Likes' to play on the flanks, and 'likes' to pick up the ball out wide is conjecture. I know Forest played him in a wider role in the senior side. Like any good player, he fulfilled the role. I've not read anything indicating where he himself likes to play. Regardless, I don't necessarily see our CF being a static position, just that that quartet would be very sharp on the eye when utilised. It doesn't need to be the same players every game. I imagine Tony has a plan for the boy.
  20. You've seen a lot of him I presume? Tony likes a versatile player, with the ability to interchange. I imagine he will be utilised right across the front line, including as the focal point.
  21. Winning is a habit. It becomes engrained in the psyche. We just need to keep riding this L1 train as long as possible.
  22. Brereton up top. Arma, Dack and Palmer behind. Hard to fault that. Not many defences will enjoy their afternoon against us this season. Pace, guile, young, exciting, English. That would have been hard to believe in the not too distant past.
  23. I'd say in the right light, it resembles Harry Redknapp....
  24. Saw the team news, right at the start of a family day out today, with no phone service. Returned to this. Magnificent little surprise. I would have been happy with a point. The longer we can ride this Promotion momentum, the more it shapes our season for the better. Tony has instilled a never say die attitude, and pride in the shirt. It's all I ever want in a Rovers side. Some big tests on the way, but we relish these games against more fancied teams, and with Arma's pace, and Dack's guile to come back, very content this evening.
