  1. I’m not aware of a hamstring issue. They are taking their time with his recovery as it is common to get tweaks and strains when coming back from a long layoff.
  2. We can have the best facilities in the UK and Venkeys can stump up the funds for it. They can fully finance the Academy, pay a inept CEO, what they can’t do is finance the improvement in the squad. Yet those who drop out of the premiership have 4 years of parachute payments. Therefore nearly half of the league has an unfair advantage. Given that all clubs now have relegation clauses in their players contracts they have advantages longer than 4 years. Plus if they break the rules and get promoted, the EFL don’t have the ballocks to fine them. DROP THE PARACHUTE PAYMENTS AND LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD.
  3. Maggots latest on STC in the telegraph. It’s looking more and more like Coventry were they scrapped the training complex to move to a new state of the art complex. Get these charlatans out of the club. MAGGOT OUT, MOWBRAY OUT, URANUS OUT OUT OUT😡🤬🤬
  4. Not so Woody, Brereton would command a transfer fee, it may not be £7m but his stock is rising ala Diaz, if he continues to score like he has in the first few games he may be worth more than our investment. The others will hopefully be sold in January. Two are ex academy and owe us nothing. Rothwell didn’t break the bank so we’d be quids in. Our problem will be finding replacements. The u23s will continue to feed the first team, in the short term until they settle in it could be the course for disaster
  5. Butterworth should start ahead of Dolan, has pace, doesn’t try all the tricks and flicks that Dolan does with about a 50% success rate. Plus he’s scored when fit for the u23’s he deserves a starting position.
  6. Why would you not want a better company? We need all the cash we can get, plus if their a better company they will have a higher profile and that helps Rovers.
  7. Maggot in the telegraph today on contract situation. Looks like Nyambie, Rothwell are going, Lenihan possible. I think they are putting all their eggs in Diaz’s basket. Also looking like Mowbray is here for the foreseeable I predict a 12 rolling contract. Neil, Wilder can look elsewhere they ain’t coming here.
  8. The same Howard Kendall that worked miracles on a bloody shoestring, how he would have loved £12m (at 1970’s values before you start moaning) to spend. We’d have walked the division. Oh I forgot what did he do at Everton when he moved there? Probably one of the three best managers of the decade with Bob and Brian. And a real gentleman who replied to a 22yr old supporter when at the start of his tenure we were not pulling up trees. Would Mowbray do that?
  9. There’s always Steve Kean who would jump at coming back to England and finish the job he started. I’d sooner see Gene Wilder, or Alex Neil Scottish politician!
  10. Both are one trick pony’s that were found out in the Premiership. We need a manager that can not only get us promoted but actually keep us there like Dyche at turdmoor. I’m not sure who fits the bill but maggot needs to do his homework and find the next Howard Kendall, and not cover Mowbrays arse.
  11. I’ve never bothered to keep my tickets. They mean nothing to anybody else, I have my memories of all our visits to the Mellennium Stadium. After beating Spurs (deserved), it must be Andy Todd smacking Van Persie, priceless 💪👍🤪
  12. I doubt we’re paying for them until they are fit. Just remember Martin Dalin and back injuries.
  13. Chaddy seems in a different world to the rest of us. I want change but still cheer the team on. What’s the point in booing or chanting for Mowbrays head. That doesn’t help the team, and it will not get him sacked with maggot covering his back.
  14. I go to Ewood and the u23 games and like 90% of fans I’ve talked to we want a change, BUT we don’t chant for his sacking, rather we get behind the boys in blue. You’re a bit naive to think that not demonstrating at the games implies approval of Mowbray.
  15. Sparks I’m sure you can scout for him the good bakers/pie shops. There’s the one opposite Ewood that Shearer frequented. I’d recommend Greens on the market for their excellent pies, I love the peppered steak. As for cakes I can’t help as we bake our own and I’m not letting the fat jock near my lemon drizzle cakes.
  16. I want him gone, but I’m sure he’ll be here next summer giving the same old excuses. Injuries, limited budget, dealing with agents, DEFENDERS ARE COMING, etc, etc, etc. I think if we can keep Ayala fit we could be near to the playoffs, which the Venkeys will look at as progress. The only way he’ll be gone is if we either get relegated or just survive. The lesser of two evils Mowbrays stays or Rovers get relegated 😥
  17. Don’t know Bruce, he’s been here since he was a kid. He’s older than Phillips so he’s gone under the radar. I think Mowbrays using Phillips to pacify the supporters with manana.
  18. How do you he’s not supplied a whole list of players. He only recommends, maggot does the negotiations.
  19. Yep Colt he’s Scottie’s younger brother. From what I’ve read the club think he’s the real deal. Hopefully he continues to develop. We have some real prospects in the Academy. The future is bright, the future is blue and white.
  20. The point is Mowbray wouldn’t have asked to take the lad if he’d not been informed about him. That’s the scouts job, it then up to Mowbray and maggot to get the deal over the line based on their contact with the other club.
  21. What was really good to see was his replacement Wharton. I thought he had an excellent second half, looked comfortable on the ball and had a good engine on him. Where was Garrett, has he gone with the first team?
  22. Don’t worry Bruce your on the right track, nothing to do with BIF which are payed by the employee, more to do with narrow minded tight arse twats running the club. I know the Indians would be horrified at the bad press this will give if it became more public. The real story is how the club is being run.
  23. Not to worry I’ve heard from a good source in Italian football that Capello has been sounded out as a short term replacement for Mowbray. His salary would not be included in FFP, so not a problem.
