  1. Does anyone have any belief we will get 6 points in the next 2 games? We've barely won for months. We're in miracle territory now given our form.
  2. Im very concerned we've had no new manager bounce at all. Not a single win under his belt yet. That was our only chance of survival getting that new manager bounce. Millwall have had a brilliant new manager bounce and they will probably beat us on Tuesday. I certainly don't see us beating them.
  3. Awful set of results for a second weekend running. We're just not even getting close to getting a win. I fully expect us to be relegated from here. When QPR are beating top of the league opposition, you just know you are doomed.
  4. QPR 2-0 up against Leicester. They have a top manager. This is looking like a disastrous day for us unless there's a huge turnaround in other games. Our game is done.
  5. Completely blame the manager for this one. Played our strongest team against Newcastle which I knew would mean it would have significant consequences for today. Other fans weren't quite so clued up when I said that on Tuesday but here we are now 1 point of relegation...
  6. This is a tough game given how important it is and how bad we are away. A draw would be OK. Swansea will see it as a very winnable game at home. It sounds like both Gally and Tronstad will be fine to play which is a huge boost. Presume Pickering will come in too. I sense that Swansea are a bit like us under JDT. Too much focus on trying to play pretty football but not a lot of substance behind it. Our more pragmatic style may cause them problems I think.
  7. My fear too. Gally injured and many players playing for 120 mins. Meanwhile Swansea will have had a full week off. Enjoy tonight I guess rather than worry about the weekend but I think this could come back to bite us in the league.
  8. Szmodics wasn't injured. He had a very unfortunate incident which is very painful!
  9. We've had so many shocking results and performances this season but tonight was the best performance we've seen all season. We were better than Newcastle for most of the match and we looked like a proper team at last. Tough to break down, dangerous on the counter, committed, motivated, and we played to the strengths of the players at our disposal. All the things we've been missing this season. Promising signs.
  10. Who is this guy called Markanday? Looks superb! 😁
  11. We've been excellent defensively tonight aside from the goal. We look like a proper outfit again to me after becoming a soft touch under JDT. I feared playing our full team tonight may backfire and have implications for Saturday and the rest of the season. If Gally us out for weeks then my fears have come true. Big risk playing our full team tonight.
  12. What makes you think we won't go down? We are 4 points off the relegation places and have barely won a game this year. I wouldn't be surprised if we lose on Saturday to put us even closer into the mire. That's how bad we are. Stoke will change their manager soon and then we are hoping and praying they don't get a new manager bounce otherwise we're in big trouble.
  13. I will watch, of course. And of course I hope we win but I won't care too much if we don't. It has very little to no impact on the club. When you are in serious danger of dropping into league one, which we are, then these types of games are not important. A win here is a nice boost for the club, but relegation to league 1 is a disaster. Playing 3 games a week has (almost) been a terminal blow for us this season. We have a tiny squad and the more games we play, the more injuries we get. If we get injuries now to key players then we are looking at a terminal situation given we need to pick up points in the next 3 games. We can easily go on a run of 1 win in 11 games again if we are missing key players. That would relegate us.
  14. Couldn't care less about this game in all honesty. I hope he's not silly enough to play our strongest 11. All focus needs to be on the next 3 league games. If we don't pick up at least a couple of wins from those then we are heading for league 1. Stoke will probably change their manager soon so we need to pick up some points. Not that we've had any real new manager bounce but most clubs do.
  15. Probably but if they ever do leave then it will be due to political or economic enforcement imposed on them, so there is a glimmer of hope if a serious offer does come in given the pressure they are under from the government. They certainly won't leave due to fan sentiment or protests, they couldn't care less about that.
  16. The Indian government could force their hand. They clearly don't want them owning us and sending significant sums of money out of the country.
  17. The Bahrain Royal Family are looking to buy an English club. Rovers suggested as one of those possible clubs by The Mirror. We can dream I suppose.
  18. Very important point today. I thought we'd get thrashed so it's promising that we came back to rescue a point. We'd have gone on to lose that 2 or 3 nil under JDT. I thought QPR and Sheff W would win today. I did not expect Hudds, Millwall, and Swansea to win though. It feels like a tough feat for Sheff W to overturn a 7 point gap and an inferior goal difference against us. Stoke feel like the onea who will be in the final relegation place as things stand. I think we'll grind out enough points but it won't be pretty or comfortable. Eustace has done well so far to make us much harder to beat and score against. The style of play is awful but needs must at the moment.
  19. No surprise that we're losing and others around us are picking up points. If QPR turn it around against Rotherham and we lose to Norwich, both of which I expect to happen, then things will be looking grim come 5pm. We're so bad, it's beyond belief. Norwich will go on to get a second and possibly a third.
  20. Can't see us getting anything out of this game. Our game plan at the moment is to keep it tight and nick a goal, but Norwich have too much attacking quality for that to work tomorrow. Josh Sargent is one of the best players in the league and will rip us to shreds. Buckley has to start. Interesting that he is getting rave reviews after his cameo against Cardiff. He was no doubt a standout player but I think that is also largely to do with the lower quality in our squad now that he looks a standout. The fact he can actually trap a ball and pick out a simple pass puts him head and shoulders above the likes of Ayari and Garrett.
  21. I completely agree. I'm not a conspiracy theorist generally but this one just doesn't add up. Three similar mistakes in one year, two happen to be very expensive transfers. Yet any freebie or cheap loan is done without a hitch. The club would rather play the incompetent card rather than "we have no money" card.
  22. Take the point and move on. The sole aim today from how we were set up was to get a clean sheet and everything else was a bonus. Ayari and Garrett in particular were awful. Buckley good when he came on
  23. 1-0 Cardiff written all over it. I thought we couldn't get a worse loanee from Brighton than Moran but GB has come up trumps again with Ayari.
  24. 😂 Was that a joke or something? That half cannot be real. Awful.
  25. Big chance for us tonight I sense after seeing the team news. Our starting 11 and bench looks average but Cardiff's looks awful.
