  1. Well the Ewood Revolution never took off did it? No difference between this Transfer window and those that went before.
  2. Sad remembering how excited we used to get about the FA Cup as kids.
  3. Surely Mowbray will be all over that!
  4. Rothwell another. Terrible manager in other ways our Tony but made some shrewd buys.
  5. I'm happy to put my views on this public forum, its arguing with the likes of you puts me off. over and out.
  6. Yeah and put Samba up front!
  7. Ever the contrarian. No-one could cross a ball in the last 5 plus years? That's bull-shit. Hedges can, Dack can, Brereton can for that matter---he just can't be on the end of one as well! Getting childish this. Get tangled up with someone like you and forget why I'm on here.
  8. That'll be new. Snatching at straws I think. Dack has excellent delivery anyway.
  9. Yes I do----who's going to do it then?
  10. We've taken him on because e he's good at set-pieces?!! C'mn! We need a more grown-up discussion than that. Is he fitting into our existing set-up or is he the first in a series of signings where we change our approach? That's critical. Hedges was a winger at Aberdeen, his strength was his crossing and he had a good shot on him when he cut inside. We don't see that side of him much because he was shoe-horned into an existing structure. Khadra was an exciting and talented young player who could look a champion , but in our set-up he too often ran in to blind allies. As does Dolan for that matter. Unless a winger has the right players in the middle to take advantage of his pace/skills we won't get the best out of them. That particularly affects set-pieces. We play sterile football, we score few goals because we create few chances. So, until I see the totality of this transfer window I worry about the prospects for this sort of player. There are other players we need more. I hope there is a plan but, with a week to go, I fear that's its the same old. I hope that's a better post than "Give the lad a chance FFS".
  11. Rather than take the piss ( that's the easy bit) tell me who he'll be crossing to? "This place" really can be hilarious eh?
  12. No-one saw this transfer coming so I suppose that's encouraging in a way. We'll have to have a different set-up though to get anything out of him---like a central striker.
  13. So long as there's someone to cross to!
  14. We never do though. Always last minute and not our first choices. Going according to plan.
  15. WE can only sign players that-one else is in for it seems. Whenever anyone else is linked with a player we're after I just give up. I know they'll offer more in wages, even if its Wigan!
  16. Or has he never recovered from being left out of the side to play Burnley?
  17. I'm not sure Burnley care about that. Being a Yo-Yo club means you continue to access parachute payments. You can go down with a fair bit of confidence about coming straight back up. In alternative years, you have a promotion season and a Premier League season so the crowd interest remains high.
  18. Thought the second yellow was harsh, hardly ill-discipline from Ayala.
  19. Have no belief we will get anything out of this game so can't be disappointed!
  20. Really? Its all a matter of luck?
