  1. Brighton have a surfeit of CB's so a loan of Van Hecke isn't too far-fetched. That Matt Clarke has done well on loan as well.
  2. Me neither!! Wish I could help you.
  3. I did it? Hilarious! just shows if its a choice between conspiracy and cock-up, the latter wins every time. The question is --which person is responsible for giving me this enormous power which I didn't know I had and which I wouldn't know what to do with?!!! Am I really able to delete entire topics? Wow!
  4. Is it a witch hunt? Nobody on here picks the team and we all would be delighted if/when he returned to his best form surely? Its been 2 long years without much from him so people are naturally doubtful. Must be very frustrating for him and I suppose that's going to show from time to time.
  5. I didn't see Shebby as a liar just not very competent! Heart in right place though. Said he was determined to get rid of the crooks.
  6. I get the distinct impression you don't rate him!
  7. The longer the silence goes on the more intrigued I get! What's going on in high places?
  8. Ha and I thought it was just me who couldn't find the Unions thread!
  9. And you thought you'd get banned for that?!!!!!
  10. Probably in the last year of his contract.
  11. Another issue is that so many players played the whole game. In this division the games come thick and fast. We'll cramp up with exhaustion if we don't get enough bodies in.
  12. I remember James Beattie's debut---rabbit in the headlights at a subdued Ewood. Let's say he didn't exactly sparkle that day but we didn't give him much chance after that and Southampton did. Got to be patient to see how Vale turns out.
  13. Never expected to see "purposeful" and "Mowbray" in the same sentence!!
  14. Ah! So many memories flood back when I hear that song. Raises the hair on my neck!
  15. That worries me too. Travis is a whole-hearted player and will surely pick up injuries along the way and a few cards. Not remotely possible that he'll be available every week Who would replace him?
  16. Beyond dispute that bit! Just because they are on City's books doesn't automatically make them stars in the making. Clubs like City and Chelsea etc gather up young players like a trawler wrecks the sea bottom!
  17. Got no profile has he? Should have been given more chances.
  18. I really think they want to close the Riverside. If they talked to the fans they'd know why that is a bad idea.
  19. So am I---every summer! The excitement fades once the widow closes but a year later I've forgotten all the pain and get excited again. Its like a goldfish in a bowl or pregnancy!
  20. Then they'll have to settle for 8000 season-ticket holders and watch the money roll in at Preston and Bolton. We've always said they haven't a clue.
  21. Get rid of Waggot and appoint someone like Williams. Have regular dialogue with representative fans. Have a fans rep on the Board. Don't let player contracts run out. Aim to match season ticket sales of our local rivals rather than have an empty Ewood. 13000 cheaper season tickets would bring in more revenue than 8000 dear ones and give us a match day atmosphere. In general be proactive rather than reactive. Could go on but I'll finish with---don't swallow the idea that things can't be better. Edit---accidently wrote "80000"!!! LOL!!
