So he sets his team to close out a game with a one goal lead----at half-time!!!!? And at home? And you're OK with that?
-
Consistent though! Fans are to blame.
-
Doesn't he always! Its ingrained with him. From trying to get a third which would have put the game to bed, we have our fans chewing their nails wishing for it to end.
-
Surely when Rothwell went off it had to be a like-for-like substitution? JRC was as near as possible from those on the bench. But Tony knows better and we send on a defender to protect a marginal lead at home! Where are the "edge of the seat" performances he promised?

Ridiculous isn't it?

That doesn't make sense! He got loads of stick last year for the reasons you suggest. Now he's getting loads of additional stick because his transfer record is terrible. He's thrown away £7M on one player for a start! And we face a crisis at the end of the season because of the age of some players and the fact we have so many loans. The criticism is totally appropriate. -

No---its based on opinion. -
Oh dear. We are patronising aren't we? 2% of the Australian land mass is bigger than many European countries! I know that lightening causes many fires but the lack of rain over more than a decade now means the ground id tinderbox dry. That's what global warning does. We know Australia is rich in coal. Britain has a lot of it too but it will never be dug up. The fact that you export most of it does not free you of moral complicity in the damage it causes. In any case, and you've ignored this, Australians are the world's second largest emitters of carbon on a per capita basis. I know its called Adani and I accept popular opinion is against it but Government is not hence "the dopes in power" remark I made. Why let the Indians have their way? Answer----filthy lucre I have my own share portfolio by the way which provides my pension---it contains no coal or iron component--don't make assumptions about people you don't know.

Mowbray was supposed to be gradually building a promotion squad over a few seasons. 3 seasons on and we need 9 signings. That is failure. -

Yet we need as many players now as we did at the start of the season! Worst summer recruitment since Coyle. -
No towns affected then? No coastal communities? I must have been looking at the wrong pictures. I'm not sure what your point is tbh. Australia's summers are getting hotter and hotter, the drought has continued in in various places for years, Australia's emission are rising---it produces 1.3 % of the world's carbon emissions but has nothing close to that in population terms and it actively works to sabotage progress at international conferences to ameliorate climate change. Also it hopes to open a huge new coal-mine in Queensland. So, indeed there's much we can learn from the native settlers of most communities but bugger all from the dopes in power.

Its overdue! Way overdue. Obvious the the Club has been run on a shoe-string ever since Venkys arrived. How many players who didn't cost £7M have we missed? I keep saying that there is a player in there somewhere. But playing him wide has destroyed any chance of seeing progression this season He needs to recover! Can TM ever bring out the best in him? I really doubt it. -

You actually put the blame on Brereton for this fiasco, you said you were "disappointed" by his performances! Not quite the same is it? No blame attached to Mowbray who is presumably disappointed too! Not his fault though! We would have all wished TM had bought 2 keepers ( or at least bought one and kept one) and a new defence months ago! All the same problems this Board identified then are even more pressing now but we have no money because TM wasted it. But you have full confidence in him, you no longer want him replaced? -

Its a long way from what we do! In fact, we waited a year for Bauer to become available and when he did we made no move to sign him! -
Sounds like Mowbray to me!

Mowbray makes it sound as if the difficulties encountered in the transfer window are unique to him and Rovers. How does anyone sign anyone Tony? -

Ep 124 - Rovers Trust - what's the latest ?
47er replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Excellent email from the Trust today about its plans and the ideas it wants to persuade the Club to adopt. Very encouraging. If we only had similar inventiveness and enthusiasm within the Club.... Too long to post. -

An ultra-cautious pronouncement! Still down-playing the most disastrous/bewildering signing in my lifetime. -
