  1. Statisically it would be an improvement but: a) its not much of one and b)it hasn't actually happened, its an"if". If he's here next season "and beyond" we will be a shell of a club.
  2. Dunno. Let's ask him.
  3. I'd wager that no other manager given £12M for two players in the Championship would totally waste it as TM has. And a new manager would never play Gallagher on the wing so maybe he might find some form too. I think you are one of the pessimists actually---we can't find anyone better than Mowbray so let's do nothing.
  4. Another example of us buying cheap and selling dear!! Good that he's his way though.
  5. Even Duggie----beat players for fun! Seen him beat the same defender twice on many occasions (sigh!)
  6. Carry on like this much longer and we'll be a Div 1 club with 5000 fans in a couple of years. And "yes" I am pessimistic! Give me a reason not to be.
  7. Armstrong has pace and is quick to get a shot away. I reckon he'd be alright playing up-front alongside a big, strong striker. In this division anyway.
  8. Sell him then!!
  9. He looked good when he came though.
  10. Or it might not be a blip. It might be another example of what happens to a player under Mowbray's management.
  11. I would trust Dyche to make the most of whatever budget he does get, But why are we bringing Dyche into it? We have Mowbray.
  12. Totally disagree. Why should we disregard the performances? Doesn't make sense. More than half the clubs in this League are "within touching distance of the play-offs? What on earth makes you think we'll be one to break through over them? As ever we did get within touching distance of the Top 6, then flopped again. The mood on the Board accurately reflects the Club's position imo. We will never go up under Mowbray and we will never prosper under Venkys. I personally feel despair and can't see any way forward.
  13. In any case the air of disenchantment on here reflects the state of the Club. After 3 years of TM, what is there to get excited about? The quality of the squad? The playing style? Seemingly doomed to be anchored forever in the mid to lower reaches of this league? This is a discussion site and if people are depressed about where we are they are entitled to say so. Or should we tolerate all views on here but this one?
  14. Which change of opinion is that? The first? the third? I wonder if people comments would be very different if we were in top 6. ----yes, I rather think they might be!
  15. Its as if the phrase "hit the ground running" never existed.
  16. Were we 2-0 up with 10 minutes to go?
  17. Are you still in the "Mowbray Out" camp though? I'm not clear on this.
  18. The thing is, he could go out on loan to a Div 1 or 2 club and come back without any confidence at all. I’ve no faith he would succeed there either.
  19. Score or you’ll get a fag end in your eye!
  20. Well I don’t know him, just an ordinary fan. Good news that he won’t hang on for a pay-off but bad news that he doesn’t realise his race is already run. Makes the good news irrelevant! If you’re right of course!
  21. That big unit Boyomo? Is he not improving?
  22. Sorry then, never heard of Oaksy I'm afraid!
  23. The evidence is that he chooses to buy as many mid-fielders as he can get his hands on and ignore the defence.
  24. Ignoring the smarmy nature of your reply to my politely-made point, there is no evidence in the in the club's transfer record that can help you! The evidence shows that his transfer record is poor and that he was quite likely to have wasted a lot of cash on a lemon, given the chance. But, if he was leaned on by the owners and has allowed them to usurp his managerial authority, then he doesn't come out of it that well either does he? Integrity eh? I note you ignored that point.
  25. Its entirely possible rather than pretty likely isn't ? We have no evidence. But it looks bad for him either way.
