  1. Read this for a post. As accurate and prophetic as could be. Says it all. And its posted on August 11!!!
  2. But earlier in the season you didn't want to give him till summer, you wanted him gone. You blow with the wind mate.
  3. Apologies for that---genuine mistake.
  4. Why did you want him sacked then? Notice you ducked that one!
  5. Grow up! Quite Trumpian there Chaddy!
  6. No, your mate already made that point so I provided the balance! Anyway, you've changed your tune (big surprise there!),you wanted him sacked a while back! Remember?
  7. and contract extensions to raid the coffers further.
  8. Yes it is! And a very bad one.
  9. Currently 13th! and sliding.....
  10. The same Mowbray whose paid £12M for Brereton and Gallagher? Madness!
  11. Experienced at what? Failing at other clubs after a couple of seasons and getting sacked? Creating teams who play boring and losing football? Continually changing the team and playing players out of position? Consistently neglecting defence? And, in our Club at least, pissing millions up against the wall?
  12. You mean you won't. The logic is all around you on this thread, you simply don't want to know.
  13. Credit to him (and/or his staff) for getting them on a shoestring in the first place though? I do agree with your post however.
  14. Given Venkys' track record, this is not very reassuring!
  15. So you've said---several times! If they are under contract then they leave when the club thinks it appropriate in the interests of the club ie when we have adequate replacements lined up. Why didn't this happen! Because Venkys didn't mind ruining any promotion chances we had! Other clubs don't just fold to players' demands eg Palace over Zaha.
  16. We are in desperate straits. TM moans we have too many players and he'd like to get back to having a manageable squad. But who handed out contract extensions to players who aren't good enough? We've had several transfer windows under this manager and out of our defence (back 4 +keeper) 3 are loans! Moreover, he has too many players for some positions but virtually no decent back-up in defence and no width. We could have strengthened in the areas we needed to and be pushing for promotion now----for less than he has spent! Instead we will finish bottom half again ---at best. He's a disaster.
  17. Well "yes" its just that you came up with this gem: "Why would the owners weaken our chances of promotion by selling any one who is key to our team?" I went back to show you its not been a barrier in the past.
  18. I think its high time the owners did!
  19. Same as last season, same as next season.
  20. We're trapped aren't we? With a manager who stifles any creativity in fear of the opposition.13th and 3 points off the play-offs again! It should be written on our burial stone. Dog Day Afternoon.
  21. Well apparently Dack does! As for the two you mentioned, I don't mind them leaving, particularly Duffy, its the failure to buy replacements ie adequate replacements that got us relegated. And who appointed Coyle and why?
  22. In short, he's blown it.
  23. And how long did we keep Duffy? Sold him when there was no time to replace him and for a ridiculously low fee. So we sold Hanley on 21st July! I didn't look it up, you were obviously keen to prove me wrong! So I'll revise my point, they sold BOTH of our centre-backs in the summer and never remotely adequately replaced them. And we were duly relegated. So how wrong is your question?----Why would the owners weaken our chances of promotion by selling any one who is key to our team.
