Since football returned we've taken 7 points from six games. That's borderline relegation form, ludicrous to think we will make the play-offs with Mowbray in charge. He's never been a good manager, that's the thing. Left Coventry in a mess from which they have never recovered but most telling of all, made a pigs ear of the Celtic job. How is that possible?!! I didn't cheer when he came to us, better than Coyle is all you can say about him.
-
We've been linked to 6th place as well so don't get your hopes up.
-
Three quarters of the league are challenging for a top 6 place at some point during the season. He not only didn't make us serious candidates, we have only made 6th once in 2 years, when we had an early KO and that only lasted a couple of hours! If he stays we will have another season like this one---at best. That's assuming he does well in the transfer market because we are in dire need of half a side, thanks to successive cock-ups from him.
-
How long is he going to live off promotion from Div 1? Loyalty is apparently available to everyone at Rovers but the fans.
-
Left back at Notts Forest!
-
Norwich spent £2m! Never serious about staying up. Happy to yo-yo I think
-
in goal hopefully!
-
When it mattered we lost 3 in a row! So, if this game has any significance---we'll lose!
-
Well we haven't finished 10th yet have we? How about the boring football? Gav and others went bonkers about Allardyce but at least we were in the Premier League and improving. We're going backwards now. Progress would be making top 6 in my view. And he said that was his aim. Or was it 70 points? Either way he's failed. How about £12M strikers who can't score and are played out of position? 3 and a half years and we haven't got one decent keeper at the Club. Unbelievable what some people will put up with.
-
Its marginal rather than significant? Could easily be undone by end of season churn, failure of owners to fund transfers, failure of manager to sign right players. In short any improvement is at glacial speed and we'll all be dead by the time Tony's rebuilding programme has finished.

Nailed it!
-
You beat me to it. He's making it up. However those who said Mowbray is tactically clueless and made bad signings (don't remember "shit-loads" though) are alive and well!
-
That early miss of his was pathetic though. Absolute sitter.
-
No chance at all with this manager. Probably not with another.
-
That was my point but I bet we don't.
-
So do we get rid of Samual as plenty were saying we should or does he deserve more chances? If we'd paid £M7 for him he'd play every game!
-
Same happens with Graham---in reverse!
-
Suspiciously odd.
-
Could happen under a different manager.
-
On that basis every new manager is a gamble and we should never change because things might get worse. He doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt, he's failed. We are stuck in the middle of mediocrity going nowhere till we start going downwards. We are bereft of money, dignity and ideas. What we have are poor results, boring football, low crowds, big debts and a fantastic history. We are a few years away from the likes of Bolton, Oldham, and Wigan and I suggest you wake up.

Yes Dack was an outstandingly good signing but nothing excuses Brereton and nothing excuses playing Gallagher on he wing over and over again when everyone can see it doesn't work. Nothing excuses the goal-keeping situation. Nothing excuses the failure to sort out the defence and to depend on loans for key positions. Everyone will accept what you say about Dack but so much else has gone wrong. Massive rebuilding job needed at Ewood in the summer, no confidence Mowbray will make the right decisions with whatever money is made available to him by our crackpot owners.
-
He promised exciting football. He said the fans would be on the edge of their seats! I presume he wasn't referring to an eagerness to get out before the end of the game.
-
If we won all 5 games I'd still want him to go (but we won't).
-
He's been here 3.5 years !! What more could I learn in 5 more games?
-
There's only one way to find out!
