Probably time to reflect on what we did achieve rather than what we didn't. We were very lucky with our half of the draw, for a start. I doubt we would have gone past Germany or France in the other half. Spain were the stand-out side in the competition from Day 1, fearless attacking football from them. But 32 sides started out in this tournament and 30 didn't make the final. I'm not sure we played the best 11 players in England but I'm equally not sure that someone else would have made the difference. I would like to see what Klopp can do, I am genuinely excited with the depth of emerging talent in English football and we move on....Looking forward to seeing Adam in an England shirt soon, I'm sure this experience will have been very beneficial for him.

Agree with that. No penalty there for me though Kane got his shot away exactly as intended, it was a good shot, dipped and was saved. That's where it should have ended. The fact that there was contact after Kane got his shot away had no effect on play. Very harsh decision and very costly for Holland.

I suspect the only chance of us buying anyone rests on Sammi being transferred. If we get £15M for him, the Club might be able to spend £5M. That's being optimistic and its clear that the squad is being weakened season by season. Relegation inevitable, probably sooner rather than later.
