  1. And it will dissipate quickly if the January window is as bad as usual. Players will realise they will not be fighting for promotion and there is no ambition at the club to match the supporters' and their own
  2. Agree, great move but I don't think it was going in anyway as Brittain claims. Not that I care!
  3. We signed him when, in reality, the leap from the level he was playing at was too great. That doesn't mean he's a write-off. He has a lot to learn but he's young and keen so I think we just have to be patient with him and see. However that's no excuse for not signing the striker we desperately needed at the time and surely we must do something in January?
  4. He's staying then?!!
  5. He's our new Howard Kendal isn't he? 💙
  6. The catch is that he came to us to rehabilitate his terrible reputation after his time at Rangers. We benefit from his skills but at the same time stand to lose him as his value increases and attracts others. Presumably there's a release clause in his contract so we won't make much money out of it.
  7. I don’ think we disagree here do we? depth is about quality not mere numbers. As someone above alluded to, we will always have a starting eleven and we’ll always have substitutes available in numbers but not, sadly, in depth. Anyway I’m sick of tidying up Riggers messes while he buggers off!
  8. Sorry---having you doesn't add any depth at all!
  9. Crawley starts the innings with 2 fours! Jim to disapprove!
  10. NZ all out for 125, Atkinson 4 wickets, Carse 4 wickets. Bit of a thrashing here. Will soon be able to comment on Crawley's latest dismissal! (reverse hex!)
  11. Isn't that the same thing?
  12. I like Dolan. I think most Rovers fans do. He's not Premiership standard but I'd imagine a few Championship sides would happily take him on for no transfer fee. Blackburn Rovers----the gift that keeps on giving.
  13. They'll all leave for Premiership clubs for nothing!!!
  14. Liverpool game was an absolute cracker.
  15. Presumably if we hadn't had Wharton to sell we would have gone into administration. That's what those Indian tossers have brought us to. May they rot in hell. However this is an unrepeatable betrayal they've pulled on us. What happens next time we are broke and there is no Wharton to sell? Personally I can't wait.
  16. That's why its CAT B!
  17. Another player who won't sign enjoying his time at Ewood. Loves the manager etc etc https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/24764488.blackburn-rovers-eustace-put-belief-me-says-dolan/
  18. Fair few Rovers supporters in London though?
  19. As crap as it gets! Away, same League---no romance, just beaten them away.....
  20. The sort of game I never have any confidence about.
  21. He cops a lot of flak but we'll miss him when he's gone. For nothing as usual.
  22. Well none I'd imagine. But I wasn't talking about the penalty itself was I? I was talking about the lead-up and it was quite clear that no-one had a clue who would be taking it and it was obvious that several players were jousting for it. It was also obvious that Travis as captain made the decision on the spot. If we'd missed it, it would have been a disaster. I can't believe that Eustace, whom I've got great regard for, overlooked the need for it. But I can believe you could start an argument with yourself in an empty room.
