  1. The Oasis greatest hits promo CD will be longer than the final cut.
  2. It would be a worry if it was in any way true. Ryan Nelsen doesn't fit one of Arsene Wengers criterias which he uses when purchasing a player. Not young, not quick, not athletic.
  3. Oh of course I 100% agree... My comment wasn't aimed at you in any way, just really a statement of we are ahead of Newcastle, and many other ''bigger'' clubs at the moment, and the only way we can stay there is by pushing ourselves to the absolute limit. It's worked in the past, it's working at the moment and I'm damn sure it'll work in the future.
  4. I'm more interested in average of positions finished, points amassed and trophies won to be honest.
  5. For the season?! I've been away for a while but last I heard was he is out for 5 months from when he got injured?
  6. Duff for £5m is sickening. The Geordies midfield is looking strong.... Solano Emre Parker Duff Or they could do the old... Parker Solano Emre Duff N'Zogbia Owen Things are looking good (on paper) up there, and increases Rovers need to get in the market and stay ahead of a close rival.
  7. Think his lack of 'patience' paid off.... 2 Championships and a League Cup. Three more medals than he would have had.
  8. Heartbreaker.... The Ocean.... Dancing Days.... Kashmir.... Ten Years Gone.... Led Zep could have their own top 50.
  9. The intro to Baba O'Reilly is unbeatable live. Being a Pearl Jam obsessive I think their live version of BO'R is great, and also think the intro to 'Alive' live is too hard to beat.
  10. I've only ever seen him play two full games to be honest, and it was at a time when Saints were drawing every week but he did look like a player with alot of potential. I was expecting him to have made an impact in the PL when I suggested he could be in the squad, but one thing I would say is, Arsene Wenger is the manager I admire and respect the most in the world, and if he can honestly say that this player can go to a WC and make a positive impact, then that's all I need to hear. Wenger gains nothing but a broken kid if he goes and disgraces himself, or isn't up to it.
  11. Thought this thread would be interesting to bring back and have another read over eh Philip!! As suprised as I am, seems my raised possibility has come off after all!!
  12. I'm just looking forward to the World Cup so I can see this legend perform on the stage he deserves.
  13. Only just read back to this after seeing you quote my post, but I think my comment went over your head. Read Joeys previous post and it might make more sense.
  14. That is blatantly not true. If Rovers had Boltons' two home games, we would be expecting us to get four points, though everyone else would be expecting us to get six. Newcastle are as in it as Bolton are, but I think we should comfortably get 6th.
  15. Aparently the fourth one, which he has broke this time, is a minor one, or a ''less important'' one I heard on SSN.
  16. I'd hate Spurs to put a dent in the big teams. I hate any other team over achieving apart from ourselves. It makes things harder for us to reach our full potential. A mediocre Spurs team finishing 9th benefits Rovers, not a Spurs team getting it right; That means we can't finish as high.
  17. Funniest unintentional inuendo(s) I've read in a while... Apologies.
  18. Wondered why so many people were calling for this game to be a fiver..... Pathetic lads.
  19. The is no alternative. Ashton? Do me a favour. There will be nobody going to this World Cup with no caps. The very thought of it is rediculous in itself, but starting somebody with no caps up front on his own? Sven would really have surpassed himself if he tried that.
  20. Of course, you are but correct.... Incidently, this is the time I wish we had Scolari as manager. He would simply decide if Rooney was fit enough, or going to be, and make a decision. We need to know one way or another if he's going, as the uncertainty is just as bad as the injury itself.
  21. I thought a fracture was when the bone is moved out of place, therefore it doesn't actually have to heal, but just be moved back into place and given time to regain strength. A break is when the bone actually, well, breaks. Possibly wrong, but that's what I always thought, though it's a while since GCSE PE took place.
  22. No Rooney : No Chance. Simple, he needs to be fit. He wont be though, unless he can use the first 3 games as preperation to get fully match fit for the latter stages.
  23. A fit David Dunn gets into every Premiership team bar three or four. If he can convince Hughes he can get fully fit and stay fit, there is no question that we should sign him.
  24. Would imagine Jose might rest a few of those going to the World Cup, whilst playing some of those still trying to secure their place; Certainly don't expect to see Terry. My guess would be a team of.. Cech Johnson Carvaliho Huth Del Horno Essien Gudjohnson Maniche Wright Phillips Duff Crespo Not a bad reserve team though.
  25. Bloody great timing! One last hurah for Alan then!!!!
