Thank you. Does that mean the payment should be somewhere in BRFCs accounts as well? -

I’ve now found this in the Venky London accounts (to June ‘22) Note 26 seems to confirm the profit from disposal of fixed assets relates to the training ground. It appears they received the monies rather than BRFC - I’m not sure how that helped us with FFP… -

It mentions interest is paid at Bank of India base rate + 4%. In June ‘23 this base rate was 9.1% £769,000 is 13.1% of £5.82 million. I do hope my maths is right. 😁 -

From the BBC: Test captain Ben Stokes remains committed to England long-term despite turning down a three-year contract, says managing director Rob Key. Stokes, 32, has signed a one-year central contract extension instead. Key said Stokes did so because he feels he can negotiate a better deal next year when a new cycle of broadcast rights starts. Call me old fashioned but an England contract should be an honour and not a negotiation.

It would be interesting to know the value without the assumption of planning consent being granted. -

Doesn’t the below suggest circa £11 million has definitely been received by the club - and the ‘final payment’ of circa £6 million should have been received by June? -

Brockhall can’t be developed on without Crossbaron’s consent: I wonder if that consent would be granted if Crossbaron (or an associated company) were to be the developer used… -

The company also can’t buy future property without Crossbaron having the right to add it to their security. -

Take a torch, the lights might not be on by then. -
I’d say the level of tolerance to human error is markedly different depending on whether that human is an official or a player/manager.

From the above… "I deleted Twitter, there was too much negativity on there. I thought if I removed it, I couldn't see it and it helped me. I haven't asked what's in there, I am staying away from it. I don't think I'll ever go back on it, I want to stay away." A very wise move.

Maybe Brighton was a tad optimistic - sadly we’ll never know… -
