  1. Wrong thread but given the last few posts…
  2. Yep - but they’re allowed to make bigger losses. How well the rule is enforced is a completely different question…
  3. I guess a negotiation is never complete until the signatures have been added. I’d still like to think it’s reasonably high on their priorities list.
  4. An under 12s ticket is ‘only’ £10 more than this (I think they should be free as well)
  5. Maybe you’re a robot and no one has told you…
  6. Talking Heads - Road To Nowhere
  7. I just took a further look at their Wiki page and note it was created 2 days ago 🤔🧐
  8. The fans forum minutes said we’d sold 7,300 and generated an income of approx £1.975m - this makes the average ticket price (at that point) £270. if you reduced this average by 25% to £202 you’d need to sell an additional 2,477 tickets to achieve the same income (an increase of around 34%)
  9. As an ‘associated transaction’ this should get extra scrutiny from the authorities. Whether or not it does is an entirely different matter… According to Wikipedia (I know!) the company was established in 1997.
  10. I’d hope it’s already negotiated and waiting to be signed on his 18th birthday.
  11. Elton John - I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues Plenty to work with there 😀
  12. I guess it stops them selling ‘on the sly’
  13. It’s an inflation rate of 4.4% a year - sounds pretty high to me…
  14. About 40 seconds in (I don’t think you can fast forward) https://www.beinsports.com/au/efl-championship/video/blackburn-rovers-v-wigan-athletic/1376975
  15. That’s £99 in todays money - how times have changed.
  16. Expires 21st September - hopefully someone’s on the case… https://www.blackburn.gov.uk/land-and-property/community-right-bid-assets-community-value/assets-community-value-list
  17. According to transfermarkt , he’s scored a league goal every 297 minutes (last two seasons) That equates to 7.5 goals per 25 (90 minute) appearances. My 10 goals over 25 games may be a tad optimistic but I’d expect him to score more regularly if he got the infamous ‘run of games’ I think he can still offer plenty to a team at this level but he might have to be sensible with the contract he is after.
  18. I think you’d get plenty of takers at this level if he was willing to accept a contract based heavily on appearances made. Get 25 matches out of him and he’ll probably still get you 10 goals.
  19. EFL regulations allow for a player to play non first team games for his parent club whilst out on loan at a different club. I’ve no idea how often this is ‘taken advantage’ of.
  20. I think how many more were sold with this sort of decrease in price would depend, in part, as to whether match day prices were reduced as well.
  21. I know it’s a division lower than you’re talking about but I’d trust Hughes at Bradford to use him correctly.
